Managing Google Ads use to be quite an easy task for someone who was certified, but now it's essentially meant of agencies who know the ins and outs. That's just an extra step you have to pay for.

It just says how a keyword has changed in the last 3 months or 12 months now, instead of breaking down the exact month. The platform is just too heavy, and requires too many steps do to what you want. The YouTube side especially, is annoying since you can't target specific channels anymore. Retargeting control for banners is also quite limiting. Your ads can show up in places you really don't want. Yes you can manually say you don't want it on a specific site, but there's more bad sites than good ones. It's not possible to mark everything bad as bad.

Now they just want you to spend as a spray and pray approach. It can work for some companies, but in reality - you won't know what worked and what didn't. That's how they make their money.
