良いポイント:

The customer service is top notch. Every time I call in, whoever is on the other line is always ready and eager to answer any questions I may have. They also provide useful input on strategy with how to create a button, modifier or how to implement an idea I have in my head and put it to use via our POS.

改善してほしい点:

The keyboard is the only negative thing with SpotOn. It's a funny joke amongst our staff at how awesome the system is top to bottom but the keyboard is the only part of SpotOn restaurant we don't understand.

製品を使ってみた感想： I want to love spot n but I can't. I've probably work for them more than I do running my restaurant. Its so embarrassing.

The set up was easy, the system is user friendly.

If it works its great but the handhelds always have issues. I have 8 handhelds most weeks I'm down to 1-2 due to systems issues. Not taking payments. Emv issues. They take up hours of my day trying to troubleshoot and it still doesn't work. I've only been open for 5 months and I have had hundreds of tickets and calls regarding fixing the same issue. Yes they expect me to troubleshoot and fix and its only temporary. Within a few more days I have to do the same thing, spent hours on the phone for a temporary fix.

I love how clean & simple this POS is. I like the layout, and the reporting aspect is great. I love the dual-pricing. I like that they offer a cellular backup incase of an internet problem. Building menu's and adding items is easy. I love all the different printer options, taxing etc. You can get pretty specific. I love the permission's based job positions.

改善してほしい点:

It's not meant for pizza places. The customer info is hard, I wish the phone number name and address would automatically pop up. I don't like when it goes down. I don't like that there's three different websites (BOH, reporting, Dashboard) and then another if you get gift cards (through ECS.)

Change is hard but with Spot On it is easy

製品を使ってみた感想： Love the adaptability and how easy it is to change. Install was a little rough due to a faulty router. But no fault of anybody.

The install was rough. No one's fault but the router/modem that they sent wouldn't work.

From not allowing us to start a tab with American Express to not allowing us to re adjust a tip if it was entered incorrectly.. For the system to not have a fail safe function to not allow a 1million percent tip is absurd...

製品を使ってみた感想： There have been ups and downs, a few network outages and quirks that required support but overall we are getting to know the equipment and with the Help of [sensitive content hidden]
are tweaking the software and hardware to where it helps us process the customers and payments.

I like the fact that this is flexible when it comes to hardware, when you can have a multitude of registers and handheld devices.

改善してほしい点:

What still needs to be expanded is the handheld device. The device will take orders but the process to create the order is a multi step process and when you are busy this increases the stress. Plus the device has a scanner but will not scan upc codes, so you can't use this to process order without manual entry and that is not efficient.

製品を使ってみた感想： My overall experience is mixed feelings. However [sensitive content hidden] is our SpotOn Restaurant Success Manager and without him I probably would have had a coronary. He's such a wealth of knowledge and has made himself available to me through zoom calls. Again, without him I would have continuous heart palpitations.

I like the format of the spotOn screen. It's similar to using an app in many ways

It is not easily programmable without assistance. I refuse to call on the weekends. I don't know if the company outsources on the weekend, but I have never gotten an english speaking person on a Saturday.

Hands on help from the rep to set and customer service throughout the whole process. Once you’re set up it’s very convenient for the employees to use and cut out all unnecessary steps

I’m really glad we switched from our previous system. We didn’t want to lose money and deal with the hassle but I’m glad we made the correct decision.

製品を使ってみた感想： Overall: I have worked with Spoton for over two years and I can tell that their technology keeps improving. I currently use the facing display and it is perfect for my loyal customers. I can provide a notch service and keep my customers engaged with Spoton’s all-around platform. [sensitive content hidden] has provided excellent customer service whenever I am in need or when I need new ideas to engage with my customers.

Gift Card System needs a lot of work

Nothing, I've only used as a customer of an establishment that uses SpotOn

改善してほしい点:

There is no way for a customer to check a gift card balance online. When I sought customer support it took a number of back and forth emails for them to provide me with the balance on my two gift cards... and BOTH balances they sent me were incorrect. Every gift card in my wallet has the ability to check the balance online except this one.
