This often doesn't work properly. The signatures often go down and you have open the software and reconnect to allow it to work again. This means you either have to remote into the machine that the software is loaded on or drive to the work. I have also found that the delivery of the mails is often very slow through their servers and can sometimes have to wait for 15 to 30 mins for the mails to go through. My first fix, a second transport rule, was the wrong approach. The supported way is a single distribution group containing every mailbox that needs a signature, shared mailboxes included, with the CodeTwo rule pointing at it. One rule is enough. CodeTwo confirmed they never rewrite that rule on their side; it only changes if you reconfigure the connectors yourself. A warning line at that step of the wizard would have saved me an afternoon. Deploying the Outlook add-in from a Mac: I got this wrong in my original review. The add-in deploys fine from a Mac through Integrated Apps in the Microsoft 365 admin center, which is the only supported method on any platform, and it then appears in Outlook for Mac, Windows, the browser and mobile. What does not work is Microsoft's PowerShell route, which CodeTwo does not support in the first place. The HTML editor: this one stands. If you paste externally built HTML, the curly brackets of CodeTwo's own placeholders can end up URL-encoded (%7B and %7D) inside href attributes, which silently breaks mailto links. It looks correct in the editor, in the preview and in the sent copy, and it is broken only for the recipient. Use the "Insert snippet" option when importing external HTML. CodeTwo has it on their list of editor fixes. > > We moved from uncontrolled local Outlook signatures ,everyone with a different layout and one oversized banner, to a single set of centrally managed rules in about two weeks, and the whole company has been running on it since. Setting it up took some trial and error with shared mailboxes and the HTML editor, but once the rules were published they have worked without a single incident.
