I've been able to prove that they've not only opened emails, but actually clicked on the links in the emails as well, and even showing what browser/mail package and operating system they were using at the exact time they were reading the email. There is nothing worse than sending an important email and then worrying about it all night in case it doesn't get delivered.. you can finish work safe in the knowledge that your important email has been opened, and no need to worry about it while you're trying to sleep\!
