Reporting on so many aspects of HR - turnover rates, surveys, 1:1's and the way it easily interfaces with other payroll systems. The recruitment function is so easy and allows multiple people to be involved in each step of the process.

Growing and Learning Together

製品を使ってみた感想: It's been a sharp learning curve, but appreciate EH's help to educate me on how the system works, how it benefits me and how my company can cut down time and improve better time efficiency

良いポイント:

Very helpful with initial set up, outstanding customer service. Some glitches here and there but constantly growing and improving the system day by day. I also appreciate that payroll becomes a lot simpler now, especially when they want to get their payment breakdown when it comes to their salary, allowance and commissions.

改善してほしい点:

The flowover from the two websites and certain limitations because of the linkage of 2 websites. I would appreciate if more features were available in the app instead of just desktop/website version.

It's great that new employees can load their details in directly to HR and then it will import to Payroll. Saves manual error.

I am finding the reports difficult as they are very different to my old system I used.

Not an all in one product - you'll still need an ATS and LMS

良いポイント:

The Swag app is very easy to use especially for our employees who don't work in front of the PC. It would be great if employees could do everything off the app. Wish it would work for the learning module. The app is not entirely comprehensive. Customer support was awesome. Now it seems harder to actually get to an actual person. You're referred to HeroAI with no way to get passed it to a real person.

EH is completely let down by their learning management system which is a GO1 product. GO1 is a nightmare to use. The UI looks dated. Can't easily search for a course you've created. The reports are not useful. To get reports for multiple courses, you have to run one for each individual course. While you're creating a course and your mouse runs off the form, it completely disappears with your form. Amongst other things. The process is not user friendly. Also, the recruitment function in EH is not great so you really need an ATS on top of this. It's not intuitive. You can't preview Word documents so you really need to download every Word CV to have a look at them. Not intuitive in how you move from CV to CV. It's not a all in one system. We also use EH's sister company Employment Innovations for payroll processing. They have made multiple mistakes. When confronted the impression I get is they're always defensive. The attitude is not "No worries, we'll work together and get this sorted" but "it must be something you did".

Streamlined HR Management with Minor Setup Challenges

製品を使ってみた感想: My overall experience with Employment Hero has been very positive. The platform is user-friendly and makes managing HR tasks much more efficient, from payroll to employee management. I especially appreciate the self-service features, which empower employees to manage their own information and requests. The compliance tools are another plus, helping us stay on top of regulations. The only challenge we faced was the setup of our complex Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA), which took a bit longer than anticipated. However, once it was properly configured, the system has performed smoothly and reliably. Overall, Employment Hero has streamlined our processes and saved us time.

What I liked most about Employment Hero is how it simplifies HR & Payroll processes while offering a user-friendly platform. It integrates everything from payroll to employee management in one place, which makes it easy to handle everyday tasks efficiently. The self-service portal for employees is a great feature too—it empowers staff to manage their own information and leave requests without having to go through HR every time. Additionally, the compliance tools give peace of mind, ensuring we stay up to date with legislation. Overall, it's a comprehensive system that streamlines workflows and saves time

The only downside I've experienced with Employment Hero is that setting up our complex Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) took longer than expected. Due to the intricacies of our specific agreement, the setup process required more time and effort to ensure everything was accurate. However, once configured, the system has run smoothly. This would likely be less of an issue for businesses with simpler agreements.

Annual leave always a day out

製品を使ってみた感想: Very very attentive until you have bought it, then nothing.

良いポイント:

Payroll is quick and easy. It is very difficult to get hold of anyone though - logging a support call is very cumbersome as though you are encouraged never to do it.

改善してほしい点:

The support is dreadful - very difficult indeed. But the main issue is that when annual leave is booked in EH it comes over to Microsoft Outlook one day out. So if an employee books leave until 22 July, the leave is correct in EH but it comes into Outlook Calendar until 23 July. So managers have consistently wrong holiday dates for their employees.

製品を使ってみた感想: Employment Hero is such a vital software for companies to employ due to the feasibility and I also like the playful purple aesthetic of the Software. Feels sophisticated and fun at the same time.

良いポイント:

The interface of Employment Hero is very easy to navigate. Submitting annual leaves to the company I work in through this software is a breeze. Keeping a track of the amount of Leaves I have is very convenient. Additionally I like how it is able to detect which days are considered leave and not. Also I like the ability to see my Pay slips through Employment Hero.

改善してほしい点:

The company tried implementing employees interaction within this software, however it didn't function that well.

Nothing, its another version of quick books but you pay more

overpriced software for a quick book replica. Very bad customer service who did not even call me but closed the ticket. This happened twice and any questions asked they refer to videos. Negative, There is one small demo of the product. There is no trial period to check the product. There is a one year contract and you cannot leave once you sign up. There is no negotiations with the Employment Hero team since they dont respond

製品を使ってみた感想: The initial implementation was a little labourious, but the implementation team was always on hand to assist with any issues. The software is considerable in functionality so it can be rather noisy. However, once you become familiar with the system, it is packed full of great features.

A broad range of functionality. Easy to navigate interface. Great benefits are available to staff.

改善してほしい点:

You are able to customise the pay week in the Payroll portal but not in the HR portal which means staff are having to complete 2 timesheets per week. This has caused some issues when processing pays.

製品を使ってみた感想: Onboarding, completing training and employee notes all in one place have improved our HR systems.

良いポイント:

The ability to access everything from one database. Payroll information, reviews, policies, leave makes it so much easier to manage payroll and HR functions. Onboarding has also become much speedier and more accurate.

改善してほしい点:

The LMS can be improved as can the reporting and performance appraisal and communication platform.

Don't waste your time

製品を使ってみた感想: We will be cancelling our contract and looking for a different app. Overall a really frustrating experience, made even more frustrating by the fact I reached out to them with this feedback and just never heard back. For the absolutely outrageously high price it costs it isn't worth it, and there are many other apps out there for cheaper.

It sounds great on paper, but it is far from it.

It is lengthy and difficult to set up, the customer service team takes an average of 3 days to get back to you with answers to any questions you might have, the rostering system is clunky, the app doesn't work for staff, managers can't update rosters via the app and need to log on to a desktop.

製品を使ってみた感想: Mixed. The role out of SWAG was difficult as employees got confused between HR and payroll. Also payroll did not set up our employees in SWAG properly.

The onboarding process, performance reviews and surveys

- Policies - the "mandatory " option; staff interpreted that if it is not mandatory, it does not apply to them and they have to knowledge it. Perhaps change to "signature or be able to remove that option."- Emergency contact should be mandatory but it is optional. - updates to the profile directly and not from the "import option" example; be able to change the job title on each profile individually. - it is not a full integration with XERO

製品を使ってみた感想: Went through a lengthy sales process to get setup with an account. From there it was all downhill. Compared to our current service EH is very complicated and takes 40 days to implement. Unfortunately we're locked into a 12 month contract which we have to continue paying even though we haven't used it for a single day - gave it up 12 days into the setup process.

The sales website is really nice and they make it look great....

The Android app is unusable. Literally couldn't log in no matter what. Check out the reviews on the app store - lots of other users have had the same experience. Backend on the website is very complicated compared to the system we use (that we were going to move from but decided not to). Payroll and HR are advertised as a single solution when in reality there are two separate portals. It's all a bit confusing and convoluted and more expensive than our current platform. There are better platforms out there.

In relation to your comment about the app, we've recently made significant updates to the app which may have caused this issue. I'd recommend checking the Google Play Store to ensure you've got the latest version downloaded. Additionally, whilst our HR and Payroll is connected and one solution, they do have separate logins. Soltuion to our Cost Centre Reporting!

製品を使ってみた感想: We've been using Employment Hero for more than two years now. We started with one entity and then decided to move all our entities to it. The HR and Payroll platforms are very easy to navigate. We very much benefited from the Cost Centre Reporting and integrating that with our Bookkeeping software made our reporting very easy. The HR platform is our employees first point of contact to find any data about our organisation, policies and procedure, agreements... etc. On top of that most of our employees are finding it much easier to track their Leave balances and status through the mobile app.
The Online Support is very quick in general and there is always a solution to any query we put through to the team,
Overall, a great deal to our organisation!

良いポイント:

Most likeable feature we found in the system for our organisation is the easy integration of our Bookkeeping software and the ability to import the payroll journal. That made our cost centre reporting very easy and accurate.

改善してほしい点:

It would be great if it can be linked to the Outlook Calendar!

Where's the support?

製品を使ってみた感想: The biggest problem we have is with support. It is terrible. There is no ticketing (Or maybe we just aren't given our ticket details). Very slow responses or none at all after multiple contact attempts. This just isn't good enough when we are dealing with urgent platform based payrun issues. Also, there is no clear path to support from within the platform. You have to google it. Finally, there is no clear complaints process. Hence this review. Hope you guys at EH get in touch with me.

改善してほしい点:

The interface has been updated (Modernised) but there is no benefit. A waste of time. The platform speed has slowed down since the upgrade and some important features don't work.

Integration with payroll. API capability. Ability to brand the portal to our own branding. Electronic paperless processes. One stop shop for HR management.

改善してほしい点:

Because we use Keypay already, they have not handle the integration with Keypay well. We are currently having to use Keypay for rostering and payroll. It should be all in the one new system Employment Hero.

A timesaving business value HR platform once you get set-up

良いポイント:

We effectively use EH as our online HR platform. In this aspect it is spot on with Policies, Compliance, Certifications, HR Docs, Contracts and Onboarding. Very happy to use an Australian company. The guidance templates for HR docs and policies are excellent. Pricing is incredibly efficient. Subscription outsourcing is the now for smart businesses. Payroll Xero integration through EH is much less impressive which is such a shame.

Minor features are missing. Xero payroll functionality is not good enough - actually that's a major issue. How can you not have YTD available on pay slips?? We've had to revert to Xero's My Payroll, so now staff have 2 platforms to manage. Then the smaller but equally frustrating items - You can enter the public holidays that apply to your location but these aren't reflected in the team leave calendar as an identified PH. Why not? You have already identified then surely the data can be pulled into the team calendar. I submitted questions to the helpdesk and in reply got an answer but got told to sign up for an online Q&A session for future queries. I don't have time for an hour and to have to book in time, I should just be able to email off a question and at some point get and answer. There are other minor frustrations but the overall HR functionality probably outweighs the issues, until we find better.

Like it - but needs more flexibility

製品を使ってみた感想: Good but a little frustrating. I like the platform but it needs some work to make some of its features a little more flexible.

良いポイント:

The set up and implementation of Employment Hero was relatively simple. Really did't take that long to integrate with Xero and it all seems to sync nicely.

改善してほしい点:

There are parts to this platform that are a little clumsy. For example, 1. when making templates up based on PDFs you cannot simply replace the PDF of the base document, you have to delete the entire document and all the dynamic fields and start again. 2. Expenses and Leave approvals can only be approved by one manager, which eliminates businesses that have different managers for each function. Would be good to be able to allocate who approves expenses and who approves leave. 3. Managers can't see leave balances only admins, which is not ideal as managers need to be able to check leave entitlements before approving requests.
