You can usually find that meeting note from three years ago that nobody remembered writing. File uploads are painless, and storage is generous enough that nobody feels the need to delete anything, which is both a blessing and… not. Customer support is there, technically, but mostly you’ll find yourself Googling your own problems and landing on a forum post from 2016 with no answers. > > Confluence is fantastic in theory and mildly chaotic in practice. If your team has discipline, structure, and a shared respect for information architecture, it’s a dream. If not, it becomes a digital attic full of well-intentioned clutter. For storing knowledge, collaborating on documentation, and keeping long-term records, it’s extremely useful. For quickly finding anything during a meeting while someone says “it’s definitely in Confluence somewhere,” it’s a character-building experience. Value for money is solid if you actually use it as intended.
