製品を使ってみた感想: 複数認証方法に対応しているため、状況によってログイン方法を変えられる。例えば、手元に携帯がない場合、認証方法をメールに変えたら、メール経由でもログインできる。これによって、ログインに関しては大変便利になった。

良いポイント:

会社では複数のシステムがある。今までだと、それぞれのアカウントとパスワードを覚えないといけない。このソフトを使うことで、アカウントとパスワードを一元管理できるため、ログインが楽になる。

改善してほしい点:

アカウントとパスワードの再入力要求が頻繁に現す。可能であれば、信頼できる装置を自分で管理できるようにしてほしい。信頼できる装置からアクセスする際にログイン情報の入力要求を減らしてほしい。

製品を使ってみた感想: Okta gives us a peace of mind when it comes to our data safety by helping avoid any kind of unauthorized access to our systems and devices. It has been a simple and very effective experience setting up access authentications that allows us to ensure completely secure access. Okta gives is complete control on access to all our systems and help us understand who is having access to what.

良いポイント:

Okta has the simplest setup process and came with already pre-built integrations that made it even much easier for us to set it up. It is very flexible and easy to customize allowing us to use it to secure every single system and devices that we use. Okta provide detailed reports that makes it easy to track all access logs. Its enhanced security tools allows us to keep our data safe from all unauthorized access vulnerabilities.

Okta has been so precise and we are yet to encounter anything bad to complain about.

製品を使ってみた感想: We had a terrible experience with Okta. Our sales rep left out very important details that would have dissuaded us signing up. First, the SSO paywall for 3rd parties is so massive and of course they left out that detail. For $12k per year, our costs would exceed $50k in 3rd party charges, just to connect the core apps we use on a daily basis. Second, they said Okta would work seemlessly for our customer service reps, who check in on email accounts and different software services that we use; however, after talking to 3 customer service reps, we found out that we could not achieve this using Okta, making this all-or-nothing deal fall short of our needs. Thirdly, they insisted that we pay them to get support on the product that they sold us on. I would highly recommend first googling "SSO wall of shame" and thinking twice about signing with Okta. They are hounding us to pay for year 2 when we did not even launch it in year 1. Steer clear of these guys, they will bait and switch and they only care about signing new customers.

Setting up individual apps can be tedious and not straightforward. They offered no support unless we paid them. The paywall for SSO is very steep. Multiple users cannot access single accounts using Okta Verify.

Essential service to improve authentication.

製品を使ってみた感想: In our comapny, the use of Okta has been essential, due to the high number of accounts we have in the cloud for our employees, in addition, we manage several platforms that require a login, so that is where the role of Okta comes into play, as it is responsible for authorizing any logins to the accounts we use for our company. In general, it has given me incredible security, I have been able to integrate it with the most platforms to add a login method, in addition, Okta has given me a way to keep our accounts secure with a fairly complex and almost impossible to rape. I feel safe with the login security provided by Okta, I will continue using it as an authentication service for a longer time.

The first feature that I liked is the way in which Okta records any login attempt, this helps a lot since it is capable of detecting when unwanted people are trying to enter our system, this way we can be attentive to any suspicious login. Okta also throws in two-step verification codes, which are essential to maintaining security at every login. Okta allows me to generate one-time codes to log in so I don't use my default to access an account. Auth0 allows me to manage users, which helps me add or remove users whenever I want. Auth0 sends me notifications every time a user is going to access an account I receive those notifications on my mobile device and I like that because it keeps me informed of everything.

改善してほしい点:

There isn't a single feature that I didn't like about Okta, it has been an extremely important platform to maintain proportional security in the login of all our employees in the company. Since we started using Okta, our login and authentication has benefited in a big way.

Okta has the most integration support, and a strong engine for building a closed loop access control story. From device trust to MFA login, from HRIS provisoning to app provisoning. It lets you build a complete access control story for your users/customers.

Customer support when things go wrong with integrations. Plenty of finger pointing without much effort to dig in.

Its easy for non-tech employees to setup and start using to access company sites. The administrator console allows our engineers to manage users okta settings and access. They have a great portal and the support and sales team have been great to work with.

Okta has had times where it is down and users are not able to sign in. This has affected us during business hours and have a bit of an annoyance.

製品を使ってみた感想: 10/10 .I've worked at SMB, Large Enterprise and startups. I ALWAYS get Okta if the org can afford it. There is really no "competition" that comes close to delivering a product as polished and easy to use as Okta.

良いポイント:

Okta does what Okta says it does, and delivers. Okta doesn't try to be like other competitors (if you can call them that in the space) and does IAM, SSO and Security. It doesn't do 15 things poorly, it does what it does better than anyone else on the market. Okta's support is also insanely good. I've had Okta support trouble shoot an application issue and figure it out before the actual application support even scheduled a call with me. If you want fast a great support, then you really need Okta.

改善してほしい点:

For smaller organizations the price is higher than others that "offer more". I say offer more, because in reality you get subpar products bundled together that all "kind of" work. Really if your org can afford it, you'll have a top notch product with Okta that is bar none.

It was easy to easy to implement and adopt in our workspace since it is reasonably priced and rapidly integrate with our existing IT infrastructure protecting the entire enterprise stack. It centralises users and their rights in a single pane which has helped streamline and optimize access management and changes . Using Multifactor Authentication, Okta makes provide an extra layer of security that makes it hard for unauthorized persons to access enterprise data and information. Onboarding new employee and users into our system has been made easy since Okta allow us to delete and add access credentials. Additionally Okta provide us with detailed reports on user behaviour and system performance. This enable us to resolve any issue and optimize systems

製品を使ってみた感想: Overall, it is a great tool that I have used in more than one company and can understand why it's used in a lot of tech companies. I would recommend this tool.

I love how easy Okta is to use. Once you login, all the apps that you have access to are just a simple click away. It feels like an added level of security as I've tried to access some apps listed in Okta by just using the site's password and username, but was redirected to sign in through Okta instead.

改善してほしい点:

Only real challenge is how often we are prompted to change our password. It can take some creativity to come up with new and unused passwords every couple months. (Although I fully understand and respect the frequent password changes as that is part of good security practices.)
