If you haven't used an internal link shortener before, the difference between your staff needing to pass around unmemorable long URLs, vs. memorable quick links (e.g., go/file-a-bug, or go/security-onboarding) is a lot higher than you'd think. People use the service in creative ways to socialize their work internally, and to help others contribute to it.
