CLIO for Efficiency

製品を使ってみた感想: Overall I see much more pros than cons. It is absolutely worth the money. I have been able to restructure certain areas of the firm to be more effective and our production has been going up annually since using CLIO.

良いポイント:

Ease of use, e-signing with ease, invoices can be unique to our firm with templates for each client, cleaning up others time entries are simple as admin, and it just overall makes my job more efficient and enjoyable.

改善してほしい点:

It needs work on adding my state laws and guidelines into the calendar. For example if I have a CT slip and fall case, it would be nice if the calendar prompted me to enter all my scheduling order dates, remind me when discovery is due per statute, etc… also an in office chat feature would be nice too! When we save emails from outlook the organization is not helpful for some attorneys and we cannot edit that. Also we need AI integrations!

This allows us to meet our Client's expectations and bill them accordingly. Using the templates and workflows allows you to be more efficient with your day to day.

Extremely user friendly. You can tailor the platform to meet your firms particular needs regarding your area of practice.

改善してほしい点:

Duplicate Contacts when logging emails. I believe that is being fixed.

Stonewalled by tech support.

製品を使ってみた感想: It can be slow in spite of our high-speed Internet, they changed the names of their pricing levels and then pushed his into a low pricing level so they don't have to provide us with certain product upgrades (the old switcheroo!), and tech-support stonewalls us.

良いポイント:

It's one of the more widely used software so if you're hiring new legal staff, they might have had some exposure to it. At times they can be responsive to requests make helpful changes to the product but mostly, you get stonewalled.

改善してほしい点:

Well, there are several things. We have to pay for an extra license for our bookkeeper to use the product and other software companies don't do that -it's a hidden cost. Necessary product upgrades take long with Clio and some functionality is lacking For example, Clio was far behind the competition to include an effective client portal (they started with one that was not user-friendly at all) and although they are making improvements with it, it's still is not up to par and its functionality compared to other case management software systems. We paid extra for use of their CRM called Clio Grow and its a primitive software compared to Salesforce, Hubs, monday sale CRM, pipedrive, etc. It lacks functionality like texting your potential clients. It only partially integrates with the case management portion of Clio. Worst of all, after setting up a document template in Clio Grow for client intake with our office (30 people), Clio restricted some of the functionality of that document making it even more awkward, to the point where it's unusable for us. It would've been simple to fix it and change the functionality back to the way it was just a few days ago but, I got stonewalled. No one's responding.

製品を使ってみた感想: We are never going back to other platforms. Other "attorney centric" solutions for document management, client relationship management, timekeeping and billing are LESS intuitive and MORE expensive.

Clio is intuitive and provides excellent document management, client relationship management, timekeeping and billing all in one platform for a reasonable price with no long term commitments.

改善してほしい点:

On occasion Clio will have glitches - connectivity issues. When that happens, we're at a standstill. Fortunately, it doesn't occur often, and when it does it is short lived.

Customer service is extremely helpful and responsive, our representative is also very responsive and knowledgeable. Programs are fairly easy to use. Transition from previous software was easier than anticipated

We have a different way of inputting payments so it was a bit cumbersome but we have now learned how to work around these issues

製品を使ってみた感想: First thing first. Clio's customer and technical support is top notch. They are excellent at getting you started and set up. It only takes a few clicks to get connected to support and once you are connected it is secured using your support code. Clio has helped generate and speed up my intake, processing and document creation dramatically compared to where I was before.

良いポイント:

Having my client information, cases, documents, templates and invoicing under one system is a dream come true.

改善してほしい点:

I wish Clio had more in-house created integrations with apps versus using services like Zapier to make the connections and send data from apps or services to Clio. Zapier can be very clumsy and if something gets updated in Clio's software you sometimes have to rebuild the Zapier.

製品を使ってみた感想: We really have benefitted from our switch to Clio: we are able to track files better, share calendars better, and invoices don't get forgotten anymore.

We love the invoicing the most - we are sure we have re-captured getting paid for many files we used to not be able to track and get paid for. Now we can send an invoice online and get paid online too. Making a bill is quick and easy, and our staff even thinks fun!

改善してほしい点:

We were considering moving our document storage to Clio, but we couldn't preset files with our folder organization system and it seemed more difficult to attach files to emails, so we didn't end up doing this. Also, when sending an email from Clio, I would prefer that it auto-saves it to the Clio file.

Couldn't Live Without Clio Manage and Clio Grow

製品を使ってみた感想: Excellent. I highly recommend Clio and it is worth the cost. I also appreciate the ongoing CLE opportunities, some of which are free.

Clio helped me hit the ground running when I opened my solo practice. Nearly every feature is user intuitive, and I have already been delighted to see Clio continue to upgrade its services in the two years I have used them. I couldn't survive (i.e. stay organized) without all of its features, billing, document e-signature service, and access to its partner, Proof for service of process.

改善してほしい点:

Initially I was disappointed that Clio Grow and Clio Manage didn't "talk" to one another. I love Clio Grow to keep track of leads and potential clients, and I like the ability to transfer a file over to Clio Manage. I didn't like that they weren't truly in sync. However, Clio has worked to solve that pet peeve and is continuing to make improvements.

製品を使ってみた感想: Overall Clio is a good tool that helps to keep you focused on earnings. It does glitch from time to time but my experience is that most legal software does that. I appreciate the fact that Clio seems to be constantly improving and they are open to user feedback. The support is also excellent.

I like the interface and I like that Clio focuses on profitability and showing you your earnings. I love the ease of billing and the preset feature for reports.

改善してほしい点:

Clio tends to have latency issues. I would also like it if Clio would automatically add time entries for completed tasks with estimated times on them.

製品を使ってみた感想: Great! The people and the organization are great, and they're constantly giving as a company. They give you resources on accounting, technology, business building, client management, time management, everything you can think of to run a business as an attorney. There are SO many things you can do with Clio, I'm just scratching the surface. And they're still improving and adding more things on! It really is the best thing in the world for what you're paying. I 110% recommend Clio to any attorney in the world; it's the best thing since sliced bread, and it's truly a lifesaver.

良いポイント:

Easy to Use, Does literally everything I can want as an attorney. Great use of technology to streamline my practice and make normal tasks take seconds (drafting, reminding clients of court dates, etc). Very quick response time from their tech support, and most of the people are very nice and courteous even if they can't help you with what you want. The fact that they continuously update, make changes, and add features that we either wanted or didn't know we wanted until now, especially for such a low monthly price.

改善してほしい点:

The aesthetics of some of the features. Some of the features don't work as well as I want or there are little glitches on my computer (windows that pop up saying things I don't quite understand as a lay person haha), but these can likely be solved by talking to tech support. Some of the tech support people aren't that helpful, or will refer you to call their hotline so they can set up a Zoom call so you can share your screen and they can see the problem, which takes a whole lot longer than I would like. But generally they do solve the problem pretty easily.

Only downsides is that it's very basic and does provide a full amount of features, despite the constant updates.

Clio is intuitive and greatly assists me in managing my firm. The dashboard is organized in such a way that I can easily track overall firm finances and open matters. Additionally, the ability to create tasks and sync Clio with my firm's Microsoft account expands the functionality of the product.

改善してほしい点:

I really do not have any complaints about Clio. When I attempted to use Clio Grow, I simply did not have the time to create the templates that are designed to make the product more valuable to client intake.

Couldn't Practice Without It

製品を使ってみた感想: I've used Clio for years and couldn't operate my practice without it. As a solo it allows me to manage my firm without needing much extra admin assistance.

良いポイント:

I love how easy Clio makes it to do nearly all of my day-to-day practice management from invoicing to trust accounting. The calendaring / court rules and document automation is also great.

改善してほしい点:

I didn't love that they increased the processing fee for Clio Payments not very long after I signed up for it. They did agree to freeze the rate for a few months until it goes up, but I was disappointed they increased it in the first place.

製品を使ってみた感想: Excellent. I have no real issues with the product, which is actually a great compliment. If you are thinking about your practice management tools, it probably means they are not working as well as they should.

良いポイント:

Ease of use and reliability. Entering time is the bane of every lawyers existence. This makes it about as easy as it’s going to get.

改善してほしい点:

No real downsides. The only area I can think of which might be improved is the ease of entering contact information for multiple clients on the same matter.

No One Got Fired for Using the Market Leader

良いポイント:

Integrations with every major legal techonology. Bascially the hub of our legal tech stack with the other products being spokes. Love the community and Cliocon. Always looking to see if competitors have improved enough to consider leaving - they have not.

改善してほしい点:

No legal CRM is perfect. It's the least worst option but have noticed a change in their focus to upselling. There has been little improvement or development on main Clio program for base users - all new features are being pushed non-step in atttempt to increase revenue per user. Need to use Fasterlaw to get the most out of Clio on windows.
