As a research funder, we always want to ensure that the application process is as simple as possible for researchers to use so they spend less time on administrative tasks and more time on science. Grant Tracker has delivered on this with feedback from applicants indicating that they find it easy and intuitive to use. Reviewers and committee members alike also find it user-friendly. This is important factor for us in order to maintain relationships with high level stakeholders. From an administrator’s point of view, the system supports end-to-end management of the grant lifecycle - application, peer review, contracts and progress reporting. The ability to integrate with other tools/products is a major plus. The system time settings are based on UK time, which can be confusing for international or European applicants and organisations. Finally, the lack of a manual that will describe all the processes is a disadvantage too.
