Our team uses Houzz Pro to source product for clients, track billable hours, send proposals to clients, invoice clients, create purchase orders, and track products through installation. Essentially I view Houzz Pro as a fantastic PRODUCT MANAGEMENT software.

改善してほしい点:

Some things I dont like about Houzz Pro; it could be much more robust when it comes to helping a manager of a larger design firm manage time and billable hours, etc. I wish there was a dashboard where I could see real time info on who is clocked in for billable time, how many billable hours our team has recorded for the month or year, as well as sales data reporting. I used to own a boutique and used Quickbooks Point of Sale and it had an amazing dashboard where I could customize the reports and see all sorts of important info as the business owner. All that data is inside Houzz but there's not an admin dashboard that at a glance gives you data reporting. Also the CRM feature could be better.

We Seem To Be Getting There, New Experience And All!

製品を使ってみた感想: It is good for an Interior Design firm to have software that tracks projects and incorporates purchase orders into invoices. As well as accounting and time billing.

I was a longstanding customer with Ivy before Houzz and "the new experience."The transition was easy as well as the learning curb.The library, with the clipper and descriptions built in, has always been a great assist with multiple projects going. It's good for our inter-office to have invoices and purchase orders with pictures of the products on each document. Clients also appreciate the images on their invoices, especially if they are ongoing customers and sometimes don't remember what was ordered. Plus, the client dashboard is a good client relations tool.

As stated, I was a longtime customer of Ivy and loved every functionality it offered. Although the software transition from Ivy to Houzz merged very well, I have had some challenges with the new appearance and navigation through all the parts. We have been managing, and then Houzz presented the "new experience." All of our templates were changed. We have had to learn new ways of inputting products while setting up new templates for us and the new look. All of these changes have been time-consuming.

Houzz Pro fits the bill for this small homebuilding company

製品を使ってみた感想: My overall experience with Houzz Pro is quite good. It is robust enough yet simple enough to work for this small contractor.

I like the timeline, the tasks section, the daily logs (super easy to use, including pictures - my clients are loving this). I am starting to use the budgeting and estimating side and I like it so far.

改善してほしい点:

There are a few small hiccups with how information is communicated with subs and vendors, but I fully expect this to get better in the near future. Houzz is constantly adding new features. I don't like not being able to view the timelines on mobile devices. Add this functionality please!

Value for the cost

製品を使ってみた感想: I have been with them since the beginning, and seen many versions of this. I adore the people who work with us when there are glitches, wish there were less glitches and that new versions were highly tested before being let loose but appreciate the open dialogue with the company. The product is only getting better and grateful for what it can do for us.

The project based software is a a must for our business. There are many features the program offers but what we use this for largely is project selection, proposals, and invoicing with clients.

改善してほしい点:

In any software system there is always room for improvement, overall I love that the team is constantly working to improve and seeking input from the users on how to improve. Are there things I wish this could do now that would make our life easier, YES, but overall ok with the way things are working and getting used to the newest version.

Overall, I'm extremely happy and I love all the growth and opportunities to tie my website in with the profile, the 3-D, rendering options, and all the bells and whistles that you provide. There are areas where it needs improvement from the user, friendly, use ability perspective… but overall it has been good. Some of the lead resource page could be a little less cumbersome… But overall again, I've been able to navigate and make it useful.

改善してほしい点:

some 3 d is limited. Needs more options, need a true mood board that can be personalized with my business logo and being able to pull products that are not just Houzz into he template. Need to be more user friendly.

製品を使ってみた感想: It's been a bit bumpy. I've had different people tell me different things on occasion.Seems like there's a lot of confusion among employees.

My Firm uses Houzz Pro mostly for presentation of proposals, invoices, mood boards and tear sheets.

改善してほしい点:

Some things are clunky. You should be able to turn a mood board into a proposal automatically, for example. Instead, everything must be added manually. Also, I'm disappointed that our tear sheets, proposals and invoices cannot be customized to look like our business branding instead of Houzz Pro's.

Estimate cost is very accurate, templates are a huge time saver. Sharing info with customer is super easy is many different formats. Love taking payments online. Lots of visuals that help sell the project.

No exterior design. Finding some categories at first can be time consuming as it has so many specific different line items.

As I mentioned in my previous message about the "cons," with Houzz Pro unable to provide a client app is why I am only rating this a 9 out of 10. Other than this I am extremely satisfied for now with Houzz Pro. I am really curious to find out if there is anything on the IT side in hopes of a new app development coming out any time soon.

I love that everything you need from start to finish for my projects are all stored through the Houzz Pro dashboard. It doesn't matter how large or small the scale of my projects, Houzz Pro seems to have everything I need in order to properly manage projects.

改善してほしい点:

I do wish there was an app feature for my clients to use. The homeowners that trust me to take on their large projects are extremely busy people as well, as some are CEOs and CFOs to large companies. The larger projects require way more management which requires way more communication between myself and my client. These extremely busy homeowners would benefit from an app for them to log in and see their dashboard, messages, documents directly from their phone or tablet with just a hit of their finger. This is the largest request I am receiving from my clients and I agree with them, that a homeowner app for houzz pro would be crucial in leveling up my customer satisfaction which ultimately will increase my overall satisfaction with Houzz Pro.

Industry-specific features make it a great solution for interior designers. Wonderful personalized support from the Houzz Team, is always appreciated.

改善してほしい点:

The virtual site-measure tool needs improvement - not sure if the technology is there yet, but as is it requires that the measure options are on the same level - easy with empty spaces, hard when there are furniture pieces in the way. Can't wait for that tool to improve in the future!

Houzz Pro is a Solid Option

Love the ease of use - it's a very intuitive software on the whole. It has most everything we need from an proposal/invoicing/client database side. (We use it along with Basecamp, which is our project manager software). The reporting feature is nice, as well. Reasonably priced and wonderful customer support!

There are definitely some features that we feel are missing within this software. It would be nice to have a little more customization options when creating proposals/invoices with regards to adjusting line spacing, how large our company logo appears on the document, etc. You also cannot have an invoice with a negative amount (we don't have negative amounts too often, but every once in a while we need to refund a client and have a corresponding invoice that shows it). It'd also be nice to be able to make a templated proposal, so we can just use that to create a new one that already has a lot of the items in it that we use on most proposal - have to start from scratch every time creating a new invoice or proposal. We also bill in a cost + % format. It'd be nice to be able to ask for percentage amounts instead of just having dollar amount options for line items - for example, having the line item at the bottom be able to calculate a percentage of all the line items above it. But, all in all, these are smaller things and obviously not enough of a deterrent for us and we us Houzz Pro for our business and do enjoy it. Think it's a great software and is at a reasonable price.

製品を使ってみた感想: We think Houzz Pro is rapidly evolving and we believe it can beat the level of service that Yelp or other local listings have to offer.

Our company likes the analytical information, lead generation information, and the profile settings given to us. The information we receive is valuable such as addresses, phone numbers, project information, and metrics we can use to create strategies for our company.

改善してほしい点:

Although we do receive valuable information, we wish it was easier to download it into a pdf or an excel document. Additionally, we wish the layout of the incoming leads was organized a different way so we can easily see information quickly or sort leads by month, project types, and etc. We wish we could obtain emails of the leads we receive to build an email list. The ultimate dream would be for Houzz to connect to our CRM program Builder's Trend.

製品を使ってみた感想: I have enjoyed the new changes and the ease of the Houzz Pro app.

良いポイント:

I enjoy the lead generation organization software. It is easy to use and track the progression. I also, use the idea books with clients and this is helpful in the beginning design and architectural phases while trying to capture their vision.

改善してほしい点:

I haven't really run into anything yet that has created frustration or difficulty. I think it took some time to determine the right selections of services to get to our right client but after a few tweekings in price range and scope of what we do honed in the leads have been more productive.

STAY AWAY FROM HOUZZ PRO!!!

製品を使ってみた感想: I feel we have been fleeced. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] sold us with false promises and a description of the services that did not match reality. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] our account manager was just rude and condescending when we asked to revise our services. I am still trying to change to a simpler package but have gotten no response from these people.

We signed up for the Ultimate package and support from Houzz Pro in June after Senior Strategic Account Executive [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] sold us on the flexibility of the services and ability to reduce or increase the level of product provided. Over the last 5 months we have been disappointed with the potential clients the site attracts and the amount of time we spend managing the site. When we called last month to reduce services our Houzz Pro account manager was not familiar with our agreement, was rude and unprofessional toward my Associate. I complained two and half weeks ago in writing and have not heard back from [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]. This is a marketing scam- they pressure businesses into purchasing useless marketing tools. STAY AWAY! This is paid advertising

改善してほしい点:

This software did not attract appropriate clients or projects and has been time consuming on our end to manage the results. Houzz Pro staff have ignored us now that we want to reduce services- or at least eliminate superfluous  products. This service is a rip off.

Why I love houzz

I enjoy the continuing upgrades and benefits Houzz has and continues to roll out as to the improvement and ease of using their site. I enjoy that we can store everything on one platform and it is clean, easy to use and helpful for more than we actually need it for. So many options yet to explore!

改善してほしい点:

I have found that using the Houzz program has been easy to navigate and use. I understand that there are always changes being made to the program, sometimes it takes a minute to "re-find" where things have been re-assigned to (location on the screen/program). But with a little looking, nothing is too hard to find.

Premier customer service

製品を使ってみた感想: Overall, our experience improved once [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] became our client success manager and walked us through the new features. I would say only one lead has turned into a completed project so we are still evaluating if the cost is worth it; however we are committing to utilizing more of its features and improving our page to offer a fair evaluation.

First, our current Client Success Manager, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], is extremely helpful and has helped us to utilize more features of Houzz Pro that we weren't taking advantage of before. He answers questions quickly and has taken the time to have several meetings to improve our experience. Also, the new lead tracking feature has really improved our experience with Houzz Pro because we can now track all our Houzz leads alongside with word of mouth and leads from other sources side-by-side, making it much easier to follow-up!

It took quite a bit of set-up time and a few client success managers for us to get the full picture of the software and how it can help promote our business, but once all the initial work is set up, it is easy to use. One thing I dislike is when I am creating a gallery, I have to input same project information and tags on every single picture. It would be helpful to have an autopopulate feature so if there are, for example, multiple pictures of a kitchen, the same information about finishes can be applied to all photos.

Houzz Pro Still Needs Work

Our firm was an Ivy user for a long time. When Houzz acquired Ivy we migrated over to Houzz Pro. The ease of use, functionality, and functions have downgraded and created difficulty, frustration, and delays. The worst part of the experience is that the system for technical support is terribly lacking and I usually have to reach out several times to get the answers I'm looking for. Some issues were not able to be resolved. It feels like they are taking on more than they can handle and it's causing user businesses to suffer the consequences. The lead feature is nice but since they only allow one admin, it's annoying that our sales team cannot access the leads directly from their inbox and are forced to log on.

Using Houzz for Architecture Firm

製品を使ってみた感想: We like the tool. We feel it is useful to our business and exposure. We only have to get one viable lead from Houzz to make the fee worth it, so we keep it. We have gotten great jobs from the website and feel like as Architects it’s a tool we want to be featured on.

I like the ease at which leads are filtered and sent to us. I also like the ease of use on the website itself to change features, connect with potential clients and also for marketing.

改善してほしい点:

The least thing I like about it is that you mostly get leads who aren’t ready and/or serious. You get a lot of “browsers” and making a connection to them mostly does not happen. For those who are serious, the connection happens, but that is likely 20% of our leads only.

Great for Lead Generation

Houzz Pro has been a beneficial resource in both areas, while providing additional significance to our business through the achievement of awards and positive client reviews that are posted on our page.

Lots of features, not quite mature

製品を使ってみた感想: --positive overall. Having periodic check-ins with relationship manager has been great.
--looking forward to seeing how these applications mature over time.

--a great array of tools ranging from CRM to analytics to design tools

改善してほしい点:

--CRM not as full featured on mobile, for example email templates on desktop are not available on mobile --Analytics are great for seeing MoM comparisons with our own numbers, but would be nice to see how we are doing against our competition as well (city, region, state, national) in order to measure true effectiveness --design tools are a bit buggy, for example living room furniture doesn't seem to load properly in floor planning tool and no apparent way to import an existing floor plan CAD file to save on re-drafting time. Feels very much like this is a beta tool, but has interesting possibilities especially for furniture specification.

From a small business view point

良いポイント:

For myself being a small business it is the exposure that Houzz and Houzz Pro affords me. I see other large firms advertising and Houzz allows me to compete on a level playing field with them. Houzz Pro allows me to manage inquires, projects follow , sending proposal and contract and set my schedules for projects. All of which I can accomplish in one place. I can share ideas and images with my clients, as well as various aspects of the clients dashboard. I do share the schedule with my clients, so they can view it and know what milestone are up coming and how the project is progressing. My Houzz Pro success mange and I work together as a team. I know I have support behind me and some one that I can reach out to and ask questions of. I am not out there alone trying to figure everything out by myself.

I will need to get back to you on this question. I do not know of any cons at this point two years in to using the platform.

Quality Lead Generating Software and Excellent Customer Service

製品を使ってみた感想: Early on, we realized the number of referrals seemed lower than expected; however, the quality was excellent. By the time the client contacts you, they are ready to purchase, so the sales workload is lighter on our end.

We have been using HOUZZ for several years for lead generation. The monthly customer support has been a great way to keep us up to date and relevant to our clients. Running a small business is time-consuming, so all the help is appreciated. The leads generated from Houzz have been solid, high-quality leads. One of the main reasons we decided to try them is when we moved practically every search we did for products we needed for our new house yielded a Houzz suggestion on the first page of our search. We know they stay on top of their SEO, so we have been happy with the product.

I can't say anything negative about the software. The hardest thing to do is get people to write a review on your HOUZZ page. If you focus on reviews, it will keep you on track. Reviews can make you or break you. So be prepared to ask for reviews. The customer service people will also help you learn how to ask for reviews and even send messages to your clients to ask for reviews for you, which is another reason we like working with Houzz.
