The go to eCommerce tracking platform

製品を使ってみた感想: Profitero have been great in helping the account teams unlock some quick wins and really show the benefits of changing certain elements.

The UX & ease of use, when switching between the elements is super quick and easy. Additionally, the daily scrapes make the platform up to date.

改善してほしい点:

I would like to create retailer specific logons for the NAMs or manually edit the product categories on Sales & share. Also, when selecting 1P Only for Amazon, the export shows 1P & 3P which is over 2 million rows & crashes.

Ease of use, updated on regular basis. Does exactly what we need it to do. Also the scalability.

The dashboard could do with an overhaul and bring it upto date/more modern.

Useful software for tracking your product content and availability

The most useful features are Assortment & availability and Product content. You could easily export out-of-stock products or some content issues and resolve those problems accordingly.

改善してほしい点:

I do not really like features Ratings & reviews and Placement. They give you some insight on how well your products operate, but you can do almost nothing about it. Therefore, I hardly used them.

More than just software

製品を使ってみた感想: Profitero is a software, correct. However, it is also a talented team that is striving to help it's customers gain greater understanding of the eCommerce landscape. They host "mini-share group" events and an annual virtual conference to support the broader needs of their customers. I've additionally used their consultation services to solve more complex problems and help me understand how to use the data in ways that are beyond the functionality of the software.

My use of Profitero is most valuable in sizing the category and competitors. Additionally, I have leveraged the software to understand optimal pack sizes and price points for products in my category. Anytime I have thought something was wrong, the team was able to educate me that it was simply a gap in my understanding of the metric.

改善してほしい点:

There is a need to continuously review categorization of products, as new products are added as they become available on the platform. The intricacies of data collection and classification is difficult for any software company to deploy with ease. You never stop learning on this platform.

one stop shopping for digital shelf scorecard along with the thought leadership of the team. The tool is great but the support team and the client centric focus is what sets the tool apart from the competition

改善してほしい点:

Edge is pushing there local availability view. This is not critical to me but several markets are interested in it.

Beyond the tool and unique data capabilities, they are integrated into the dynamic digital commerce ecosystem and are thought leaders in this space. Their customer account management investments have improved significantly and are a true strategic partner keeping pace & constantly priorioritizing based on VOC via multiple leadership councils.

Profitero is a great partner. We chose them 2+ years ago for capabilities, value, and scale of retailer coverage. Since new leadership & open ecosystem strategy, what we most appreciate is that Profitero is not just a tool, but provides us a unique enterprise data set, and is continuing to partner with other key analytic/marketing vendors that need "retail ready" signals for an omni perspective to drive holistic decisions real-time for digital commerce/marketing - and put data in right tools.

改善してほしい点:

Integration took more than we were prepared for; that said, a lot of that has more to do with evolving structure of our fundamental product data, identifiers, active item lists to input to Profitero. The new ACE system and tech foundation, process work over time has significantly improved. But like any tool - GIGO.

Generally Beneficial with Room for Improvement

製品を使ってみた感想: Overall, it's a good experience. Sometimes it feels like data overload, but that's the nature of the product. Lots of helpful features we use on a regular basis, but I really would like more autonomy making low-level account maintenance changes without having to send nearly everything to our account rep to implement.

Wide range of metrics that help us focus on improving our products on various websites. The reports we use make keeping track of multiple products on multiple websites a lot easier than going to each website individually. Also, the account reps are very responsive when we have questions and updates.

改善してほしい点:

Not a lot of self-service features. The vast majority of changes need to be sent to the account rep for implementation. While I understand the need for account reps to manage URLs and internal changes on their end, there a loads of features that would be more effective as self-service (i.e. which product content metrics to use for each retailer/model).

Really pleased with Profitero and their offering

製品を使ってみた感想: Very positive. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and the team that work with us are attentive and react quickly to any issues that arise. It is also great to see how proactive Profitero are at trying to improve what they can offer

Excellent visual aids and data support particularly with the new dashboards allowing us to focus in at a really granular level. The Profitero team have also been exceptionally helpful when helping to develop customised dashboards and reports that are specific to our company needs and categories. Also really impressed with the deep dive sessions provided by [SENSITIVE CONTENT] & [SENSITIVE CONTENT]

改善してほしい点:

We have experienced one or two issues with incorrect data pulling through in terms of expected content coming through from Brandbank. However, this is because we have a large product catalogue and it can be difficult to identify issues straight away. This is something both Bayer & Profitero are working hard to improve though

Profitero is Key to Guiding my eCommerce Strategy

製品を使ってみた感想: Profitero is a good partner in listening to their customers. If there is a cutting technology or another way to look at the business, they are always looking for BETA Testing partners to test-n-learn. You can grow together.

良いポイント:

The Profitero dashboard allows a quick Top Level glimpse of different eCommerce metrics. It quickly provides a dashboard for business health in top KPI's. In addition, I can do a deep dive into the data to find those ecommerce nuggets needed for Strategic Planning.

改善してほしい点:

The only improvement, which Profitero is working on, is the ability for users to 'self-update' some of the data source's search parameters. Currently changes need to sent to Profitero to update, but a 'self service' interface for some items would be quick and efficient.

The most accurate way to manage my Ecommerce business

The data that Profitero provides is necessary for us to manage our eCommerce business. We use the reports weekly and manage everything from sales and share for our brands as well as keep a pulse on the competitive marketplace. It also helps us manage our content to set benchmarks as well a keep a pulse on ratings and reviews. It's a one stop shop for every related to managing our eCommerce platforms.

改善してほしい点:

Occasionally we have issues with the data from Amazon but that is not a Profitero issue.

Importance of Competitive Sales and Share Data in E-Commerce

Capabilities to understand our competitive landscape and identify fast and slower moving products gives us the ability to change strategies against opportunity brands/items. Share growth is key to our business growth and Profitero Sales and Share data gives us a view we cannot get with our internal data.

製品を使ってみた感想: Profitero has been a great strategic partner for us. The digital shelf tool is critical to understanding our eCommerce business, but Profitero does more than this. This are constantly innovating and collaboratively working to improve this space. They are frequently provided digital shelf insights and always collecting feedback that they use to fuel improvements.

良いポイント:

The ability to track daily information at our key retailers to keep a pulse on the digital shelf components of our business. The data is easily shared and the dashboards provide ways to get quick answers to one off questions.

改善してほしい点:

Changes on retailers sites can cause some issues in data collection, but this is an industry wide issue. Profitero gave regular updates on any scraping issues. The main dashboard was not very intuitive but the new versions are much more helpful.

良いポイント:

Platform is very user-friendly. One can find many insights at different levels (brand, category, manufacturer, item, etc) that shed a lot of light on performance. Quick way to access information and identify opportunities and concerns.

改善してほしい点:

The creation of customized categories for sales and share data was a bit rough, but had great support from Profitero partners to simplify.

Moving Digital Shelf to the next level

製品を使ってみた感想: I have seen such a positive transformation in the last 2 years moving from a software provider to a business insights consultancy company. Client servicing is now engaged and motivated to optimise our digital shelf positioning. Insight services excellent as engaged into business discussions and come with innovative ideas that I am happy to support internally.

The software is pretty comprehensive as focusing on clear KPIs with easy use for the local teams to understand our performance on an instant t. Clearly actionable for the teams. Daily updates highly appreciated

Not easy to follow a trend or get a strategic view/benchmark.

Has the potential to be great

良いポイント:

I liked the product content management and inventory management categories the most. They were accurate and valuable to my business. Having this granular visibility and perspective into inventory outages at varying zip codes is unlike anything we previously had access to.

改善してほしい点:

The pricing and promotions tab was always a bit confusing for me. I found the data to be inconsistent with what was live on site which is problematic when the algorithm is constantly shifting price.

New To Digital Shelf Management Profitero Tester

製品を使ってみた感想: Profitero is definitely an expert in the space and provides a robust and detailed tool to help with -commerce management. Their solution is very good especially for a couple key retailers but expanding it to more retailers and UPCs quickly was a bit cumbersome/costly. My favorite aspect of using Profitero was their industry research and learnings they compile from all their clients and provide to users to grow their business. That was best in class and very useful early on in expanding Ecommerce with our company
