Action1 has helped me stay ISO27001 Compliant and my end users safe

製品を使ってみた感想： Very positive, firstly it is free for under 100 endpoints. you dont get that anywhere. It accepts cmd and ps1 scripts, you can deploy your own software. Its great.

The product is very easy to use, you can do a 1 time setup and leave it if required, it is helping me stay compliant with our ISO27001 standards

改善してほしい点:

Customization of the data headers. Sometimes it would be beneficial to add columns to deployments so you can see additional information. I.E PC name shows when the deployment phase starts but no user name. I have to open a second tab and go to endpoints to view who the user is.

Action1 is a game changer for patch management and application deployment.

製品を使ってみた感想： I wish I had found Action1 before I committed to another RMM. The main functions of my very expensive RMM are redundant as I'm really only using it for Splashtop and PSA. Although Action1 doesn't replace the full RMM I can use much cheaper tools to bridge the gap. A very overlooked part of Action1 is it's application deployment capabilities. Only 1 RMM comes close to Action1 for application deployment.

Bullet proof and simple patch management. It's 3rd party application patch management goes far beyond the likes of Chocolatey. It's application deployment capabilities are largely overlooked and people don't seem to appreciate just how valuable they are.

改善してほしい点:

It's a developing platform the will is on track to evolve into a full RMM. Some filtering and workflows could be optimised, that said I am constantly seeing great developments along the way.

My favourite patch management software

製品を使ってみた感想： Little over 6 months, I find it better than PDQ offering I am also using. Easy to deploy software updates and patches to endpoints regardless of location. Being free for <100 endpoints certainly halps small businesses.

製品を使ってみた感想： The tool itself has been vital in helping us discover vulnerabilities not only with Windows, but with third-party software which we struggled a lot with beforehand. The agent deployment tool connects straight to Active Directory and was on all our available Windows assets literally within an hour of deploying. We went from having limited Windows vulnerabilities and update controls to having full visibility across our estate and the ability to deploy mass updates on scheduled, control the reboot process, update servers during maintenance times and patch all the third-party apps you can imagine.

Other than the affordability, I love the admin interface. It's simple to navigate and easy to learn. I had never even heard of Action1 a couple of months ago and now we're using it for all our Windows assets as if we'd known the tool for decades.

改善してほしい点:

Right now is the lack of support for other operating systems, but they have an awesome roadmap site which actually listen to customers, and MacOS and Linux are coming which is awesome.

製品を使ってみた感想： Great experience. Small installer footprint with a quick scan on the endpoint.
Scheduled Updates can be set via Automation.
Security is a key cornerstone of the company.

Accurate and fast patching on Windows and various external apps. Uninstalling old and vulnerable apps from the console works without issues. Installing non-Microsoft apps can be handled via the Software Repository. As a patch and vulnerability management tool, it works well.

改善してほしい点:

No obvious PSA integration yet. Integration on the roadmap for next year.

Great tool, that does what it says and does it very well

製品を使ってみた感想： In less than 1 month I had the knowledge and ability to implement it on my network, controlling and scheduling unattended updates, and being able to control the deployment and possible failures and errors.
Really very satisfying.

The first thing is the graphical interface, very clear and simple, which allows a very small learning curve. The second thing is that everything he does is done well, without errors and easy. Additionally, the ability to configure custom scripts facilitates easy actions and deployments. And, for me, the best is the remote access software, integrated, simple, easy and just what we need to operate our environment.

改善してほしい点:

I would need some space to write personalized notes by team or group, as well as some way to document the resolution of the vulnerabilities in the platform itself (Now they are marked with the "document compensatig controls" option but nothing can be indicated)

Absolutely Phenomenal Patch Management Solution

製品を使ってみた感想： I tried other RMM solutions before trying Action1. Their competitors wanted a lengthy service contract and couldn't scale down to what we initially needed. After trying Action1 and working with their sales team I knew that I had found a winner. The 100 free endpoints is such a generous offering, it's such an invaluable service and has already saved our organization hundreds of hours. If you're reading this review I urge you to try it, you have nothing to lose - it's so easy to deploy, you'll wonder how you managed without it.

It does everything, every aspect of patching, remote installation of applications, scripting, providing alerts, reporting and remote access. The 100 endpoints offering (which is free forever) is so unbelievably generous too. Excellent support - I tried others but Action1 won hands down.

There isn't an a dedicated app for cell devices but that's a minor complaint. It really feels like Action1 is too good to be true.

製品を使ってみた感想： Great! I like using Action1 more than ConnectWise Automate which I've used in the past.

Free! The free first 100 forever policy is awesome for small businesses and to thoroughly test the program's features before expanding.

I believe the software repos could be managed a little easier. On the updates pane, approving updates could be better as you have to confirm that you want to deny older updates every time. I'd also like to set certain apps to always approve

Action1 is a great patch management and RMM.

製品を使ってみた感想： Fantastic. Our account manager was great, not too much pressure from when he quoted to when he closed. Support has been very good when needed and helped initially with a few minor setup issues.

I love action1 because it is simple to use. It has Entra SSO. It uses powershell a lot, we can build custom reports and alerts.

The product is still evolving, there are items on the roadmap that I can't wait to see implemented.

Outstanding patching solution for education

製品を使ってみた感想： Action1 have been excellent at all stages during the evaluation process - from pre-sales to support. The team are approachable and knowledgeable and have been quick to respond in all areas. During the deployment stage we engaged with support to check our approach was inline with best practice and support were able to help steer us to ensure our deployment fully utilised the feature set and met our overall needs. A great solution all round.

Action1 has been an incredible addition to our service offering, allowing us to quickly patch OS and third-party applications with ease. The inbuilt reporting is strong and helps report on compliance broadly as an organisation and to a granular client level. Action1's automations have enabled us to set organisation wide policies for patching, whilst still being able to take specific individual client actions. Scheduled automations for updates/removal of software can be 'set and forget' knowing that they will run and take the necessary action as per the schedule e.g. removing a specific piece of software if detected. All round a great experience and a well received solution by the team

改善してほしい点:

Action1 offers exactly what it sets out to achieve, patching - however, there are some areas that would be 'nice to have' e.g. more granular permissions which would allow us to meet our specific needs. Action1 have taken this on board and have signposted me to their publically accessible roadmap that shows their upcoming features - of which granular permissions is one.

製品を使ってみた感想： Action1 changed how my IT team does business. It gave us so much transparency and insight into our network endpoints, and at the same time gave us the tools to fix our problems and streamline our workflow.

Action1 is incredibly easy to setup and hit the ground running. It gives you immediate insight into your environment's vulnerabilities so you know where to focus your attention.

While Action1 is always improving as a product, it is still missing some features that I need other tools to accomplish. However, many of those features are on the product roadmap, so I am eagerly awaiting their arrival.

Best patch Management for Windows that can be had!

製品を使ってみた感想： We’re very pleased to be working with A1 and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. I’ve used many other products for patch and vulnerability management, and they’re all inferior to this one.

The ease of setup is unsurpassed and we always feel like the product works as expected. Very pleased after 2+ years.

They almost sold to another vendor and we knew that would change the quality and ethos of the product. Thankfully that did not happen. No Linux or macOS support.

Vulnerability Management is no longer an Issue

製品を使ってみた感想： I wish I'd discovered Action1 sooner. WSUS is dead and unreliable, and using a Remote Desktop Manager to do updates manually is inefficient. For small business owners, this is simply a no-brainer. For large companies, even easier considering you can deploy rapidly using Group Policy. If everyone started using the Free version, they'd realise how good the product is, not change, but scale up.

Solid patch management for an unbeatable price

製品を使ってみた感想： I've been using Action1 for a little over a year and they've only improved. Their roadmap is solid and they're constantly adding new features. I've yet to run into an issue using it that wasn't caused by my own misconfiguration.

Action1 has several filters and ways to craft policies for granular rollout of automated patches. It's incredibly easy to set up the policies and apply patches to pilot and production groups. Their third-party application library is also growing at a decent pace, and the ability to enforce automatic patching on those is one of the primary reasons I use Action1.

My least favorite aspect of Action1 has to be their remote access tooling. It's missing a few features I would consider critical, like direct terminal access and file copy, but it gets the job done if you just need a simple way to access a remote machine.

Best Free/Cheap Option Out There

製品を使ってみた感想： Overall it is a great product that has grown a lot since I started using it. It is young and lacking in some areas compared to competitors but their roadmap looks good and will bring it up further.

The product is free for up to 100 computers now instead of the previous 50. I can also use it to deploy .exe files with arguments.

Its remote desktop feature is still lacking compared to competitors but it at least offers an option.

製品を使ってみた感想： The overall experience with Action1 is truly amazing. Out of all the previous platforms that I've used I can say this one by far has been simply the best

Action1 was very easy to setup and quickly deploy considering how many features it contains. I was able to start patching within minutes. The 3rd party patching feature is exceptional and constantly updated. The devs are clearly always at work and making improvements. They really listen to the constructive feedback we provide.

改善してほしい点:

There's not much I dislike about Action1. However it would be nice if the admins can have a local app where they can deploy custom softwares and also remotely connect to endpoints via the LAN

Ease of use and effectiveness of patching. Vulnerability scanning for Windows workstation and servers exceeded my expectation. Saves my team time but scanning, detecting and patching vulnerabilities all within one platform.
