I appreciate the wide range of features that cover almost all aspect of the endpoint management including patch management, software deployment, asset management, remote control and mobile device management.

Endpoint Central allows us to manage servers, laptops, desktops, smartphones and tablets from a single console which is highly efficient for organizations with diverse device ecosystems. Endpoint Central offers platforms for managing legacy and modern devices.

改善してほしい点:

Due to macOS's high level of security, Endpoint Central is not entirely capable of managing MacBook Pro and iMac devices. Lack of historical reports that provide information about configurations that we have defined and deployed to the devices via Endpoint Central.

製品を使ってみた感想: Not extremely pleased with Endpoint Central Cloud UEM. For what we ultimately use in the suite we could’ve saved money and used either a different ManageEngine / ZoHo product or a different software altogether.
I’m not meaning to sound so hard on them, but I’m just not happy with what we got for the cost. We won’t be renewing the annual subscription.

Documentation is very helpful, customer service is generally very good and prompt at answering. There are a lot of included features in endpoint central uem edition (we used endpoint central uem cloud). Windows OS features work often. Remote access feature is good. Patch management works.

改善してほしい点:

Limited features for MacOS and extremely few for Linux although some problems may be limited by the OS. Enrollment was a pain for Mac and Linux and provided few benefits. (No MdM for Linux. MDM required and included for macOS, but provided few benefits.) Advertising on the ManageEngine website and Endpoint Central website promised way more than it delivers. Especially for multi OS features. Very windows-centric.

製品を使ってみた感想: So far, so good. Be very careful to enable tampering protection on agents, because if anything goes south with the server and you are not able to restart from a backup, you will have to engage with the support in order to correctly register agents.

Its extensive range of features, which may also be confusing at first, but definitely a plus when it comes to a fully-integrated solution. It's apowerful tool for inventoring, patching, deploying software, and includes remote control features to support users. Cheaper than Intune which in turn requires the expensive Premium license.

改善してほしい点:

Probably the flaky Mac and Linux integration. Could not get patching to work with these OSes, and given the large number of Linux servers on my network, this is less than ideal.

It is great tool for Inventory Management and Patching the systems. It has easy to manage UI which enables Admin to manage systems with zero efforts and most of the functionalities are automated which saves ample amount of time.

Endpoint Central, one tool to rule them all.

製品を使ってみた感想: Excellent. We use 5+ ManageEngine products and most are integrated and communicate to provide a seamless management tool for our business. There truly is a solution for every problem. As I have been using ManageEngine products they consistently improve and impress. Feature requests are taken seriously and it's really great to see something you suggest make it into the next release. For the price I'd argue there isn't a better product.

The depth and breath of the tools, functions and features that Endpoint Central provides, couple that with a very appealing cost and it's a great tool.

改善してほしい点:

Support. Online documentation is... different. There can be several documents for the same process or documents that have been superseded by others but ManageEngine doesn't date stamp so it's difficult to tell. Also getting support can at times be difficult, it's mainly online chat and there can be some communication differences. Overall it's there but sometimes difficult.

Its agent deployment architecture enables real-time management and monitoring of endpoints.

Automation capabilities of the application, from scheduled AD sync, inventory scan, and vulnerability scan to Automated patch testing in the Test & approve, Automated Patch Deployment, and conclusive scheduled reporting to automated tasks. Endpoint Central features a wide functionality in daily system administration and management. The integral of remote desktop connection, chat, video, audio and text exchange between admin and user has simplified Remote support. License tracking in the inventory mgt module enables the org to save expenses on underutilized software and helps scale up for the frequently used software

改善してほしい点:

The Data Loss Prevention module is far-fetched, we cannot manage other mail clients other than Outlook.

Very Impressed by the feature set of this product compared to competitors

製品を使ってみた感想: I am very pleased with the platform thus far and am awaiting the launch of the new machine Quarantine feature later this year which be of great value in enforcing compliance policies on our machines.

The number of capabilities baked into this platform is unmatched. Ease of use in adding applications to the Prohibit Software list and have them get auto uninstalled in such a time saver and great help for maintaining compliance. Automate Patch Deployment and its detailed statuses make tracking down and remediating issues a breeze while ensuring that all third-party applications and OS patches are always applied to systems. One-click compliance configuration templates take the time-consuming work out of figuring out what best practice configurations should be applied to machines. Device Control allows us to more securely manage external devices by allowing users to request just-in-time temporary access to use specific devices on specific machines. App Control enhances our administrative capabilities by configuring Privilege application lists that can allow users to run apps with elevation permissions which was not possible with our existing tools. Can go on but the Pros of this platform will be too long with so much value.

改善してほしい点:

Custom reports can only be generated in a table format and don't allow graphs or charts to be added which is a bummer. Threat & Patches dashboards cannot be customized (e.g., change order of blocks, add new blocks, filter by groups, etc.)

The support team is responsive, often answering queries within minutes, unlike other tools where responses can take 2-3 days. It’s great, simple, and has all the features I need. After reviewing many other solutions, I loved ManageEngine Endpoint Central from day one.

Endpoint Central significantly improves our patch management, which is essential for our security. Neglecting this could have severe consequences. Additionally, it allows us to monitor the age of our machines, providing valuable business insights. The remote feature is outstanding. I highly recommend ManageEngine. I explored various products for software metering, patch management, and asset management, but Endpoint Central offered all these features in one package, making our decision easy.

Endpoint Central has limited features for macOS and even fewer for Linux, which can be attributed to OS constraints. Enrollment for Mac and Linux is challenging and offers minimal benefits, with no MDM for Linux and limited MDM functionality for macOS. The advertising on the ManageEngine and Endpoint Central websites overpromises, especially regarding multi-OS features, making it very Windows-centric. Integrating with existing IT infrastructure and third-party applications is complex, requiring additional planning and customization. Performance issues arise with a large number of endpoints. Some features do not work as expected, and outdated instructions lead to extra time spent learning how to use powerful features. The service struggles to recognize new devices and lacks sufficient information about the device owner at the approval stage of a new agent installation. Additionally, email notifications for such events are desired.

They have many products and there is overlap in what is provided. It's somewhat hard to figure out exactly which product gives what is needed without adding extra features and extra cost.

Heading in the correct Direction

製品を使ってみた感想: Manage Engine is a product that is heading toward the correct direction, useful for those with full access. Agent can be installed via GPO, and manually.

Centralize control, flexible with deployment, management, and vulnerabilities. Have a lot of powerful tools to use, if used correctly.

改善してほしい点:

Managing the Threats by Software Vulnerabilities, hard to filter and organize devices in this view. Software deployment seems to need silent parameters, softwares would show up with a black box missing the GUI or just fails. Need a Reinstall GPO to perfectly make sure devices have working agent, this is still soemthing I'm struggling with as 300+ devices are showing more than 2 months of inactive.

製品を使ってみた感想: I have used other products from Zoho, and had an amazing experience, this one is no different. The support is great, easy to reach, in some cases just a chat button away. And they are knowledgeable and want to help.

the Support, the software is great dont get me wrong, but the support is amazing. imagine just clicking a button and getting realtime support via chat.. seems like a fairy tale right? well its a reality with this software. the other benefits are just about every option you could desire is available, OS deployment, software deployment, self service portal, reports reports reports..

改善してほしい点:

its a little overwhelming at first, until you have time to use it and learn. Can only add full license users, we wanted to just add a user to pull reports. that's not an option.

Tons of features, not a ton of price

製品を使ってみた感想: Experience has been great. Have used it for many years now and it has continued to grow and offer more and more solutions to allow an admin additional capabilities in managing their environment.

Throughout the years Manage Engine has continue to refine their MEEC product to provide more and more features that allow an administrator a single product to support an environment. Remote access, patch management, compliance scanning, countless "deployment" packages, browser security, and much more not mentioned. The only endpoint management tool you'll need.

改善してほしい点:

Nothing I can think of at this time. Their support team is always quick to assist. If there's an identified issue in the product they're prompt to provide support.

Excellent Solution for IT

製品を使ってみた感想: Endpoint Central is a feature rich product that perfectly suits our needs for various Linux servers patch compliance, asset management and scheduled reporting requirements. With the add-on Vulnerability Manager Plus (VMP) module, my team is able to efficiently and effectively manage vulnerabilities. VMP's CIS compliance feature regularly accesses configurations of our Linux servers against the CIS Benchmarks for violations and provides guidance for mitigating detected risks. Endpoint Central plus VMP greatly save our time and efforts for securing our Linux server infrastructure and optimize my organization's compliance management.

良いポイント:

It's no doubt a feature rich and comprehensive solution. The thread and patch management feature significantly benefits our efforts on securing our Linux infrastructure. Features such as patch selections, targeting, testing and approval, and automated patch installations definitely will help us a lot for patch management. We are still on a free trial while my company's procurement working on the purchase negotiation with ManageEngine to greatly reduce our learning and deployment hurdles.

改善してほしい点:

The greatest challenge that we encounter is to figure out exactly what to configure for patch management as what we already have in use with the tool that is being replaced by Endpoint Central. The learning curve is pretty high. Cloud edition should have its own distinct documentation set entirely. Upon clicking a link pertaining to Cloud specific configurations, it shouldn't re-direct you to configurations solely suitable for on-prem edition.
