Versatile Student Software
製品を使ってみた感想： I did the free version when we were looking for an SIS system for our vocational training school that is also a nonprofit organization with limited funds. This option was perfect for the needs we had at the time and allowed our educational nonprofit to organize our students with a cost efficient option during these COVID times since many SIS systems are way expensive.
良いポイント:
There is a free option available for those who have basic needs, which is not available with any other student information systems I have found. The support is quick to answer questions and available when you need them with clear answers. If you go even further and pay for a subscription, it has a function for just about every need if you are willing to pay the increases.
改善してほしい点:
The free version is very limited and shows a very basic interface that can sometimes be confusing or take a bit of time to get the hang of. I hope for a more user friendly interface with a paid/upgraded version, although with practice it is able to be used by everyone regardless of their tech skills.
Universidad Creativa Experience

It has been a learning experience. At the beginning it was a challenge to overcome the language barrier and to convey the nature of our business model and the requirements associated with it.
We are a very particular university with a certain complexity that required many hours of work between the teams of both organizations.
However, the availability of the Classter team, especially [ Sensitive Content ]
, was exceptional.
The Classter team made sure to adjust the system to our need and implement development to make it work for us. There was a lot of patience and flexibility.
On the integration issue, it was one of the biggest challenges, especially with electronic invoicing. The Classter team made sure they had a good understanding of what our regulations were in Costa Rica and delivered a custom development that complied with them. But it was a process that took longer than expected.
With the development of custom reports, the experience has not been so good, the reports bring many errors and do not work 100%, something is fixed but another problem arises on the other side.
Suggestions:
Have teams of consultants and support that speak Spanish. The Latin American market is an interesting market and if they want to grow it would be good to consider having Spanish speaking teams.
Include in the initial offer more hours of training and develop it under a more formal process, this would avoid many reprocesses or recurring queries from the customer to the classter support team.

Once you have the correct configuration it is easy to manage. The way you have the information organized makes the admission and administration processes much easier.

The adaptation of the system to the business model of the University was a bit complicated, it seems to me that the system was initially created for schools and not for universities, so sometimes we felt it was a bit rigid and did not fit our business model.
Don’t overpromise, when you can’t deliver!

User Experience is bad & Application almost useless. We had to do debugging numerous times, as things didn’t work properly.

The Mobile App is a relatively new addition to our product offering and it is true that we observed some issues in specific types of devices, but our dev team resolved them in updated releases. To say that we over-promised and did not deliver is not only unfair but untrue, our Mobile App has been downloaded and used by almost 8,000 users. I can’t really think of many cons for Classter. Maybe just that if possible it would be nice if things like reports could somehow be more configurable at the user level.

Hosting and main setup is handled by the supplier, and the support is very responsive for the implementation used.

In some cases, the user interface needs some tweaking, as the software offers a little too much choice for the end user, which can cause the user to choose the wrong option in some cases. It would be ideal for the user interface to reduce the amount of choice to the user so that the user flows through the system are straightforward.

My experience as a Classter User

As an administrator, I find the admission section useful as I can put students' information. It is also very nice that we can search student by their IDs.

That would be grate if we could have a feature to get a list of students based on the month of Birthday. For example get a list of students who were born in October or a list of students whose medical insurance is expired in October, so we do not have to check student date of medical insurance expiry date one by one.

It helps do digitalize many administrative tasks, that up till the implementation of Classter were done on paper. Like this we have a better overview of information needed.

Sometimes it is difficult to implement new modules as there a quite a lot of settings to do and consider.

Worth investing time to learn
製品を使ってみた感想： I perservered with the software because it offered nearly all the functions I was seeking. I gave up on it once and looked at other products and although some were easier to work with, they lacked features. I gave it another go and decided to stick with it. My level of IT competence is modest. I designed computer based training programs and built a network for running simulation exercises for training emergency services personnel. I taught IT in secondary schools in the UK, 11-18yr groups. I think a better level of competence than what I have is required to effectively manage the implementation of this software in an organisation. Without that level of competency I think training from Classter is essential which greatly increases the cost. In summary, promising, but difficult to deploy.

It is necessary to devote a lot of time to learning the product. Customizing terminology is not easy to and the changes you make are not always global, which causes confusion. Too many steps to reveal lists especially users lists. I would prefer sorting commands. When buying any software that Is aimed at businesses that although in the same industry have different requirements broadly connected, the ability of the customer to customize is essential. I would liked to have seen a far better and clearer customization panel. I don’t like the customisation tools in Classter.

Student form is the best feature for me as I am reponsible stduent registration. I also like the Curriculum.
