A great high-level SEO platform for Marketing Executives

製品を使ってみた感想： For over a year I have run side-by-side comparisons of both SEM and Moz. I have run reports on my clients' websites, used the platform for new-business purposes, and have used Moz extensively for keyword research. On all these fronts Moz excelled. I would happily recommend it to any CMO/Marketing Director-level person who's trying to build a strategy. But if you're a small agency trying to figure out which subscription to keep, it might be SEM Rush only for the ability to drill down deeper. I personally didn't enjoy using SEM Rush compared to Moz. Moz gave me information with a minimal of annoyance. Moz is built for the big picture. Between SEM Rush and Moz? Moz will make you feel like a genious.

Moz has a really lovely and user-friendly interface that makes it easy for me to pull great-looking reports for clients and for myself. Moz natively generates just the right amount of detail -- not too much or too little -- to make it a great selling tool for Account Directors or in-house Marketing Directors. And it's intuitive enough that you can step away from it for a month or two and go back in and find everything you need in just a few minutes. That said, this platform also offers up lots of detail. I've definitely done some deep-dive keyword research using Moz alongside SEM Rush and been very pleased with what Mox came back with.

The complaint I would make against Moz is the same one I would make against SEM Rush: These are tools that seem to be made for IT/web developers more than marketing directors. It's hard to get a CMO-level report out of either of them. That said, I would definitely say Moz is more "client-friendly." Honestly, SEM Rush and Moz excel at different things, and they're both expensive. If push comes to shove, you may choose SEM Rush for its breadth of data, but then berate yourself for losing the user-friendliness of Moz.

Has the potential to be great!

製品を使ってみた感想： MOZ Pro is one of a set of tools I use on a daily basis to provide a holistic view of the websites I optimize. MOZ is a key part of that tool set.

I really like being able to quickly assess on-page SEO with the On-Page Grader tool. It lets me to see SEO efforts in real-time and allows me to see where amendments are needed quickly and efficiently.

改善してほしい点:

Removing Site Explorer was a big negative for me, it used to be my go to resource.

Great all-round software

My Favorite SEO Tool

There are a lot of features offered and data is provided very quickly. You can easily set up and store different campaigns and a lot of insights available.

Not a lot of customization in the reporting. There are also a lot of error messages that occur when utilizing the different features of the site.

Good Value for the Cost

Moz Pro has a more intuitive & user-friendly interface than other SEO tools and is a great option for an in-house team of mid-level SEOs - people who aren't necessarily looking to dive deeply into the super nitty-gritty stuff.

The estimated keyword volumes seem to be much lower than those reported by the other tools we use. The number of ranking keywords also seems to be less than what other tools report for many URLs.

Moz is good SEO software but there are now better options available

製品を使ってみた感想： Moz used to be the industry-leading SEO software when Rand Fishkin was the face of the company. But after he left, Moz has kind of been passed with Ahrefs and SEMRush who offer more advanced features, a better UI, and cheaper prices.

I liked how Moz was able to detect technical SEO issues that I had with my website, and it picked up some additional issues that weren't found with Ahrefs. The site audit feature is also very good.

The data doesn't seem to be as accurate as with Ahrefs or SEMRush. The interface is outdated and clunky. I don't like the 'Moz Spam Score' metric, which is not used by any other SEO software or Google. It appears to be an outdated metric and is only updated every 3-6 months - in the world of fast-pasted SEO, that is too infrequent for my preference. I also don't like that I reached out to customer support and just received a generic copy-paste response that didn't address my query at all.

Moz is a good tool, but it's not quite 'great' due to a few problems

製品を使ってみた感想： While Mozpro is something i'd really like to like as a Seattle native, but it's not something i actually used in practice even with my company provided license. I use their training and webinars but not the tool as Semrush and Ahrefs is superior

Moz has just about everything you could need to run a SEO business or just do SEO for your own website. With good support articles, help section, and support they know what they're doing and want your site to succeed.

Moz, in my own experience compared to other software, consistently gave different results for things like rank and volume. This was terrible when i was using multiple services at once to double check work. The other issue is the design layout is not easy to use nor intuitive.

製品を使ってみた感想： It's not a bad solution at all. I tried it because of its popularity and I went back to the usual solution I use. Perhaps had I given it more time I would have found more value.

I was using SEMRush and Moz Pro simultaneously and I believe the user dashboard is a little intimidating but overall it is a great product.

The dashboard can be a bit complex for a first time user. It's not as intuitive as other competing solutions.

One stop shop for SEO campaigns

製品を使ってみた感想： Moz is an exceptional tool, even in a very competitive field. Its ideal for a newer SEO practitioner, providing high quality insights in the easiest possible way to understand.

Honestly the standout things about Moz are not the technical features (which are excellent), but how accessible the tool is. Each feature is so well signposted and explained that even someone new to SEO can make sense of it. Its such a rare quality among SEO tools.

The software it self has very few limitation, but you do pay a premium price. Not all companies can stretch to this budget level.

An SEOs bread and butter - but has been struggling since the migrated their server

製品を使ってみた感想： An essential tool for an SEO. A few niggly bits but it remains my weapon of choice for SEO tasks because of a nice set of tools and a clean, clutter-free UI.

The clean, clutter-free UX and the SEO tools such as page optimisation scores and rankings etc. are excellent. The monthly report setup is easy and straight forward and the crawls are easy to execute. A good package overall. A big shoutout to the customer support team - [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is a joy to interact with and is always ready to help whenever there is an issue. The technical SEO issues Moz identifies are excellent and reliable. Our technical SEO audits would not be possible without Moz.

The weekly updates of Search Visibility are not ideal. Ranking data can sometimes take more than a week to populate which is not ideal when you are on a deadline finishing an audit. Also, since their migrated their servers a couple of months or so ago, their crawls and data population have been flaky with crawls getting stuck etc. Most recently, the PDF report generation has been an issue which has not been ideal. Moz is our primary tool and we count on its reliability. Here's hoping the software stabilises again, soon. And yes - Moz's rogerbot cannot crawl Javascript sites which is not ideal. But then, I am not sure if any SEO tool other than ScreamingFrog can crawl Javascript sites. Here is hoping this feature gets added soon!

A must-have SEO tool

Moz includes the most important features you expect from an online SEO tool. Backlink analysis, keyword tracker, domain analysis, onsite and offsite SEO, organic traffic analysis, and competitor analysis (just SEO). That's why I call is a must-have app. I've used many other SEO apps (such as SEMRush) and the majority of them are helpful but only for your research stage. After that, you will end up paying for features that you won't be using that much. Plus, Moz pricing has been same for a few years now.

There is a section for "insights" to help users understand a few actionable tasks to improve their website SEO score but at this point, Moz's "insights" is premature. Reporting is not a decent feature in Moz. You will find some options for PDF exports but most important charts are not supported and you can only export CSV files and then make similar charts yourself.

My Very First Crawling App, great experience

A very friendly design, keyword monthly tracking, extensive competition analysis according to searches. The Chrome extension is very useful for quick views of the pages you browse through. The best thing that it has without a doubt is the extensive guide both of the characteristics of the tool itself, and of the market in which it lives.

You have to be very specific with the keywords that are added to the projects, because otherwise you get metrics that can be very different from the real ones, for better and for worse. At first it was an accessible tool for medium-sized agencies, but its price increased more than I expected.

High quality and has a lot of functionality. The DA extension is super helpful in link reviews and they have a lot of free tools even if you don't keep the pro version which I appreciate. Good overall SEO tool.

The backlink checker isnt as extensive as other tools like ahrefs and they could improve this further.

Solid agency-based SEO tool

製品を使ってみた感想： We have the best results using Moz for small "needy" clients that benefit from the slew of automated reports to keep them in the know. It is also, to the best of my knowledge, one of the earliest mainstream SEO tools, so the platform in general is very well tested, tweaked, and stable.

Moz has been around for a very long time, and the thing that sets it aside against other SEO tools is the depth and stability of agency-based features and functionality. It has very good automated reports that make it very easy to keep your clients abreast, along with a variety of crawl schedules you can setup that will send alerts for things like 404 errors in broken links to other pages. I particularly love this for websites with an emphasis on blogging that might link to outside websites that can change or remove pages without you knowing.

改善してほしい点:

It lacks all sense of anything regarding lead gen goals or reporting, which many competing tools do offer. I also find it to be less "deep" than several other key SEO tools in its ability to compare things like page rank and targeted keywords due to having a smaller database. It's much more focused on on-site SEO health as opposed to the "big picture."

MOZ is a Good SEO Tool with Lot's of Improvement Needed

So I have so many pleasant memories with my earlier SEO campaigns where I used MOZ as a primary research tool. But by the time, market is change. We seo professionals need huge data to research and at this point MOZ made me very upset. They need to develop a lot of features in terms of audit/research.

Moz is good for some SEO Professionals who are trying to find competitors backlinks, audit the website, keywords and can check the keywords ranks as well. Moz has it's very own parameter to measure the strength of a webpage. They named it, DA = Domain Authority & PA = Page Authority. It helps to find low competitive keywords by using their free browser extension.

Moz has not the robust features like the other SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMRush. It is a OK type tool for me. That's why I recently reduced using this tool.

Great tool but needs better reporting

I have been a Moz user for close to 10 years and I can't imagine a time when I wouldn't use it. The ease of setting it up and getting the information makes it one of the most user-friendly tools on the market. Compared to other SEO tools, they have the most modern UI, which is extremely important to me.

When it comes to reporting, that's where I switch to SEMrush. As much as they have tried to improve the reporting functionality, I find it much easier to report on position changes and especially rank changes in specific geo segments.

SEO Moz has helped me create SEO powerhouses in many industries. Their tools are incredibly useful and easy to understand. Whenever you do not know how to use something, their customer service team is incredible with helping and they get back to you right away. I have been in marketing for many years and I would highly suggest marketers and business owners to use this tool.

Sometimes there are so many tools to use that you can forget about some of them. We are fortunately to have a few team members on marketing so each member has specific tasks they pay attention to in Moz.
