Excellent Convenient App

製品を使ってみた感想: I love the way that there is constant development, and improvement since i first joined 2 years ago.
The app has allowed me more room for quality time with clients, as customers can schedule appointments at their own convenience, without interfering with consultation sessions.

The app is extremely user-friendly and advances on a monthly basis. The support is always friendly and very responsive.

Nothing really, as I said there are so many things still to come and to add, which is extremely exciting.

I purchased this software for my daughter who is a brand new salon owner. I wanted to make sure that she was able to communicate with her clients in a way that would be effective and easy to use so that she did not have any issues. For the volume she's currently taking in, this works well and it's not stressful.

改善してほしい点:

I'm personally not a fan of the app visually. To me it seems a little dated however that's just an aesthetic. The app definitely does what we need it to do so no complaint there.

Worst booking system ever used

製品を使ってみた感想: Overall it was awful. I was billed incorrectly for a system error that was made and then my account got disabled. As a salon relying on appointments being able to operate I was left in an awful situation. I tried numerous attempts for assistance and I just got sent around in circles. Their system error had detrimental effects to my business and there was zero acknowledgment of this or apology.

Aesthetically pleasing. It’s hard for me to find pros as I am so dissatisfied overall.

Terrible customer support. System errors and nobody to assist. They do not care about their customers!

製品を使ってみた感想: My overall experience with Booksy has been great. It’s a great price for the features it offers and it makes running my business easier for me. Not to mention my clients also like how easy it is to use.

What I like and appreciate most about this software is the mobile access, appointment scheduling, and confirmation/reminders. These are some of the main things about this software that makes it easy not only for me, but for my customers to use.

改善してほしい点:

I do feel calendar sync could be improved. I do like this feature, but I’ve had issues with my appointments not being on my calendar even though someone would schedule their appointment.

The worst app and business owners should be aware

製品を使ってみた感想: I hate that Genbook merged with Booksy, they couldn’t have picked such a terrible software. Customer service is horrible, please don’t respond with “get in touch with [email protected]” because I ALREADY have and yet no response, mind you this was last week. My bank account has not been verified after almost 1 week and a half and I’ve been sending over numerous documents but nothing. I NEED to talk to someone over this issue because I’m potentially losing a lot of money especially with no shows. Don’t even get my started on every client has to give a deposit? Or at least that’s what I was told on the chat. Oh, and the chat.. you ask a question on the chat and get a response HOURS later.. like Business owners have that time? Anyways, these are my main points, I can go on. If you do respond, please let me know how I can get a refund since I paid Genbook.

Booksy is Garbage

製品を使ってみた感想: They are a garbage company. Customer service is unresponsive. I had repeatedly asked them to delete my client list from their server prior to the data breach. Eventually they assured me that they had done that. Two weeks later another salon had my entire list.

When books he purchased Genbook I kept some of the useful features.

Once Booksy took over, I lost my entire cancellation list. Several appointments did not make it in the changeover and I was double booked. They gave my entire client list to another, competing salon who began marketing to all 1500 clients

Stay Away if you value your Customers

製品を使ってみた感想: Awful, frustrating, have definitely upset my clients over this unplanned switch from Genbook.

良いポイント:

I do like the option you can add forms as I'd like to get away from paper. I haven't used theirs as I'm looking for alternative software, but it was the one thing that appealed to me.

改善してほしい点:

As others have stated, there is zero customer support. They want you to watch their webinars...um seriously?? The chat people will say "hi" then maybe answer your question 10 hours later. If ever. There's really too many things that make this software the worst ever, just trust the bad reviews with recent ratings.

Makes booking haircuts simple

Booksy makes it very easy for me to book my haircut appointments. It shows all the available days and times that my barber is free.

改善してほしい点:

I wouldn't say there is anything I dislike about Booksy, however it could be nice to have a request feature. For example, sometimes my barber works overtime so it could be useful to request an appointment in case they are able to cut my hair outside of regular hours.

Payouts issue - disappointing

製品を使ってみた感想: I am experiencing issues with registering my account for payouts since September 2022.I have provided Booksy with my Revolut details for payouts and as per error of one their employees I have been accepted even though they don’t allow Revolut for payouts.My customers have been charged for £160 worth of services and I can’t claim my money back from you due to this error.I have been informed by Booksy that I should provide ANY bank details with my name on it so as I work 7 days a week and banks require lots of paperwork it took me over 2 months to do it.FINALLY I thought I will get my money but what do I hear???? I can’t use my personal details because my business is LTD!Twice i have been misled by this joke of a Company that claim your money and don’t provide you with a solution for their own errors. They don’t value Customers who pay them regularly for 2 years, I even offered to process my payments for Booksy subscription and they said NO.Absolutely disgraceful

Over Charged My Bank Account

AWFUL!!!! This app has overcharged my bank account several times. I have tried to contact them several times and they will not get back with me. I have emailed them, called them and no response. I have been very patient. Still no response. Not even the [SENSITIVE CONTENT] will respond to me. Just shows the business ethic on their end and the lack of compassion towards the hairdressers that pay them to have their service. We as hairdressers are extremely busy. They billed me on the third of this month and then again on the 11th for $29. They also charged me $29 for messaging which I opted out of when I first got the app but they charged me anyway. So BEWARE OF THIS APP AND THE CHARGES! I have tried to erase my bank information and all other personal information, it will not let me erase my information. So now I have to call the bank and change bank cards. This is a HIGE HASSLE when I tried to be patient and nice about this on going issue for MONTHS! When you call you get blown off to the app chat line or asked to email them! COWARDS if you ask me!! Quick to take your money 💴 but hide when they make a mistake in taking too much mistakenly!

Booksy - for the Solo Barber

製品を使ってみた感想: Great , easy to use product with some fantastic tools to make managing your business easier so you can focus on your customers.

良いポイント:

I love being able to manage my diary and appointments on the go, create stylish advertising content, get reviews to boost your Brand. The deposit scheme is great if no shows are causing issues for your shop, and I found I built better relationships with clients for tracking their info and keeping better notes.

改善してほしい点:

Sometimes making changes to working days / hours etc seems long winded and wasn't smooth running, but as long as you check carefully changes ae correct, I got there in the end.

No waitlist

製品を使ってみた感想: Initially, it seemed they were very responsive and helpful. I tried the online chat and heard nothing but crickets when I followed up to a vague answer I received.

Genbook was purchased by Booksy and I will say the migration of data was great. Booksy assigned a rep to me for a few weeks to help with the transition which was nice.

改善してほしい点:

I need a waitlist. Booksy claims they have one but it is virtually impossible to access which to me, means it does not exist. If you can’t find it easily, it’s useless. I’ve been told that improving that feature a top priority but I’m not holding my breath. Am already looking for another solution and I haven’t even been with them for 30 days

Almost Non-Existant Customer Service or Follow Through

製品を使ってみた感想: Horrible. I'm guessing their software was ok... I was told at one point that someone from their support team would call me to go over the software features, but it's been almost 6 months and that hasn't happened. I'm just astounded that a company, who is there to help people like me run a business, which is my livelihood, would completely drop the ball and LITERALLY SHUT DOWN THEIR PHONE SUPPORT.

I had an account originally with Genbook (which I loved). They were bought out by Booksy. The only positive thing I can say is that they were able to transfer everything from Genbook to Booksy, so I didn't have to re-create any services.

I literally could not get ANYONE on the phone to help when my account was migrated from Genbook. They completely... and I mean COMPLETELY... shut down their phone support. The absolute only option for support was their chat feature, and most of the time I had to wait days for a response, and one time I literally waited WEEKS for a response. There was no option to start a new chat conversation... I was just stuck with no answers, when trying to run my business.

Don't believe all those glowing reviews -- terrible online support and impossible to cancel.

製品を使ってみた感想: Shop around! There's so many better booking sites out there with far better support and who won't try to make it impossible for you to cancel your subscription.

It's pretty straightforward as far as scheduling softwares go, but there's so many to choose from that are simple to use and have way better support.

I was using Genbook when it was bought by Booksy. I spent a fair amount of time working with the Booksy platform but there were numerous things that I didn't like about it that made me decide to switch to a different scheduling platform. That's when the real trouble began. First, they took down the account access page that would let you cancel your account online. So I called and got a nice young woman but she couldn't understand English well enough to get my email address correct to look up my account; then she said she was transferring me to someone else and disconnected me. So, I tried using their chat function even though when I was working with their platform, that had always been really REALLY SLOW... like they sometimes wouldn't respond for 45 minutes. Again, that happened. So I emailed them. Not expecting a response their either; so am going to cancel payment through my bank.

Its Hard to teach an old barber new tricks!

製品を使ってみた感想: I get people who look me up on booksy. People will find you and you will begin to develope a following after great reviews. People who move to las vegas are new to the Valley. They need a barber . They find me on Booksy. In thier area. Booksy pulls it up. Experience 2 to 3 people a week that i normally wouldnt have gotten if not for booksy. It truly pays for itself if you get just 1 new person a month from of Booksy.

It was Simple! The software was easy to maneuver around on my android. It frees my hands up and my time . Which is a valuable thing in the barber industry . Book and keep moving. Love.it.

This wouldn't fall under the category of dislike necessarily! But, it would be nice to have some picture or photo of what the person looks like. Walking into a busy shop. There have been times that person walks in the shop and I can not identify them. They sit. If I could have an IDEA or better idea of the person of their hair height and photo ..something. Uber does it. Technology takes away the personal connection. Late nights in my shop to open a barbershop door to whomever that booked on booksy. Let me see your face before i open the door to the shop. Or get into a strange vehicle for a ride home.. with a stranger... GETIT. MAKE IT MANDATORY TO UPLOAD A PICTURE ON 1ST VISITS. I THINK THAT WOULD BE AWESOMEEEE...THANKS FOR LISTENING.

After 2 years of paid subscriptions I felt abused by customer service and belittled they rushed me off and told me someone would call from upper management to resolve my problem but they never did 😔😔😔I’m very disappointed that they were not able to amicably resolved my very simple accounting 🧾 issue.

Booksy is the best alternative to keep apoitments running

良いポイント:

It is easy to use and customize, there's no way to can't mistake information and lost your appointment. The confirmation gives you that certainty and the reminders are always organized on your calendars

It is a bit repetitive, and sometimes it's confusing where to book or check a business since you have so many options and ways to access their information

Appointment at the tip of your finger

You don't have to communicate with shop owners directly, as I am in country where I don’t know the language much. It has made my life easy while booking my numerous appointments.

Worst Customer Service

製品を使ってみた感想: Disappointed entirely with the transition from Genbook to Booksy.

I have not had a good experience with the product and most specifically with customer support.

When Genbook transitioned to Booksy I was assured that it would be seamless, and it has been anything but that. When I call for customer service the message saying there are is no one available to help repeats every 10 seconds, I get it they don't want me to wait on hold because then they have to provide service. Wait time for chat is ridiculous. I started a chat an hour ago and have been waiting a minimum of 10 minutes between each reply - which have been unhelpful. Specifically, I was told that clients would receive review requests after their appointments - now they just told me that that does not happen unless they sign up for Booksy. The over 200 reviews they imported from Genbook are not transferrable to a new service because they are not verifiable to them. Genbook had excellent customer service and an intuitive platform. As other reviewers have said, Booksy customer service does not care - and it shows.
