Great potential

製品を使ってみた感想: A really good solution with an excellent price compared to many software options. Very easy to use and simple to expand and contract as needed. No huge investments required. A few areas to keep improving. Hopefully the changes can keep up.

The software is easy to use and full of features. Really well suited to straightforward rentals and a small to medium business. Cloud based makes it excellent from a hardware requirements and access point of view.

There are areas that need more flexibility especially once you want to move away from the basic to anything more complex. It can be difficult to make it work to your own business rather than as per the original.

Good Product

It creates a single platform to view all rentals, management equipment and interface with the clients. Integration with other apps, such as Quickbooks, is crucial.

改善してほしい点:

It is expensive to have our entire crew as users to use the scheduling function. Setting up of the dates in each opportunity is cumbersome.Most events are on the same day. Having to change the delivery date, charging start date, charging end date, and the pick up date every time is tedious.

Only just about worth having - I'm sure there are better on the market - development is slow

製品を使ってみた感想: We've had current RMS since 2017. We've used it because at the time everyone was raving about it compared to hiretrack and rentalpoint. Fundamentally it's a good idea but it's been bolted and added onto so much now that it really does need an overhaul. We considered getting rid of it and going back to our old system but decided it's (only just) worth having. With recent price increases we may revisit that though...

That it tries to appeal to too many markets. It is never set up how you want it. There are constant workarounds which need to be in place. Development of ideas is slow and cumbersome.

Great software for small business

製品を使ってみた感想: Overall current has worked for us, as we continue to grow we shall see if it can scale with us. I do have concerns that it wont based on previous feedback to the team.

Scheduling and resource planner get very cluttered with multiple stores. The feedback doesn’t really seem to matter when we reach out to the team, its always the same response.

製品を使ってみた感想: Very good! The team is wonderful and the platform works well for what the designers intended it to do. We are just looking for a little more complete ecosystem, and I’ve been asking them to make additional developments to make our lives easier.

The crew scheduling needs quite a bit of love. Also, the ability to get all of the information that has been put into current out of it needs significant help. Like a crew app with all the details and docs would be life changing!

Practical and Helpful CRM for Event Businesses

I had been looking for an inventory rental software program for years. I found the initial setup a bit confusing as it wasn't something i was use to but i had heaps of support from the team at Current and they were always there to answer any of my questions and they still are!

改善してほしい点:

Because i direct all of my invoices etc to Xero, I can't generate a balance invoice to send to clients when they pay a deposit which i find annoying. Unless i am unaware, there isn't a pay now button to direct to a credit card payment option

Customizable User Friendly System

製品を使ってみた感想: We keep integrating more and more of what RMS has to offer as we grow and as our knowledge of RMS and how it can help us grows. It is the little things that you see later within your procedures that will allow you to fully see how much time and potentially money RMS can save you.

One can customize it anyway they want to fit their company's needs. We started off using it as a inventory management tool and are slowly integrating it into our QuickBooks (even a plug in for that to synch) and vice versa for our rates. You put the time in in the beginning and get all your info entered and it is a very user-friendly program with great customer service.

改善してほしい点:

Some of the barcode printouts can be hard to edit and mess around with in the beginning but customer service is always a chat away to help with most problems.

Current has a lot of potential but is lacking in certain critical areas.

I love the ease of working on Current using any device, from anywhere. It makes remote management of my rental business possible when I can’t be in the office, or am traveling.

My least favorite aspects of Current are: - lack of payment processing within Current - inability to customize Current screen data to match our internal process/terminology - inability to track vital customer data like insurance status - inability to completely customize forms without extensive coding knowledge - inability to give inventory items “permanent” subrental status - Complexity of making “packages”

Fantastic RMS System

The system is user friendly, everything is clear, organized and well thought out. Amazing customer service. Current RMS is always improving with new features and updates. Asset management is a key feature we use. Quickbooks and TeamTrack integration have been amazing in creating an efficient workflow.

改善してほしい点:

Transferring assets between opportunities or long-term rentals are messy to deal with at this time.

Doesn't have an "undo" button. The number of times we accidentally delete something and we want to go back.

From here, we can evaluate what's possible around an undo button, or look at the possibility of putting more warning screens in place to prevent users deleting something accidentally. A simple to use and effective piece of software, it has helped transform & streamline our operations

製品を使ってみた感想: Our main benefits are time saving and having everything in one place when previously it was spread across 3 or 4 different packages is fantastic.
Having the ability to access easily makes remote working a lot easier, no need for VPN connections back to the office.

Easy to set up from scratch and easy to adapt as you go Ability to easily customise and set up your own fields in any area of the system Easy to use & quick to learn Pictorial layout makes sense & looks great CRM & Project integration (Invoicing too but we don't use that feature...yet) Speedy response from technical support Crewing and logistics workflow Ability to access anywhere, anytime from any device Responsive to new ideas and no user hassle to download/update as it is all done for you Linking calendars to mobile devices/other computers/Outlook Ability to download custom views as a csv file Ability to hand on heart recommend it to other people/companies Overall a great product in fairly early stages of life and is improved upon regularly. The support I had during set up was fantastic and some major improvements to the calendar was taken into account and implemented making it much more user friendly (in my opinion). Support is much more responsive than our previous software company and generally its a positive outcome too! The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars across the board is that there always ways to improve and for the few cons as below.

A few well thought out ideas and well supported items on the wishlist that have been on for a long time with no sign of implementation - e.g. moving oustanding items to an existing Opportunity - email templates - choosing optional accessories - Do a deal button Better Outlook integration would be nice No option to choose who can see custom views - only ability to do this at User Role level, not individual User level No way of customising the main Dashboard No real stock check routine

After months of researching and trailing different products RMS ticks EVERY BOX!

I love the ease of use of Current RMS, I was worried that cloud based software and rural Yorkshire internet just wouldn't mix but the responsiveness is as if the software is hosted on the machine I'm using. Every time a new update is released it ticks boxes that I didn't even have. The discussions feature is great, I'd happily pay £35/month for a email client that shows when recipients have read my emails and that is included with RMS!

I'd love to have an iOS app, I appreciate that the mobile version of the standard web GUI is available but it is a bit clunky on iOS (even on a plus sized phone). The wish list is great but now it is to over 500 wishes it is getting a little out of hand, many repeat requests (each with maybe 20 votes but potentially 100 across the 5 requests?) Perhaps the wishlist should send out an email every week/month of 'new ideas' which may prompt users with spare votes to vote on an idea that they didn't even think was missing?

I'm pleased to let you know that a native app for Current RMS is on the Wishlist as we appreciate areas of the system may not be as easy to view on a mobile device, even if this is fully responsive. In regards to the amount of requests on the Wishlist, we frequently try to clean this up in the way of merging the same/similar ideas together but it's been very active recently so taking the time to do this again is high up on our list and hope to get round to this very soon. We really like the proactive idea of sending out a monthly email informing users of recent ideas added to the Wishlist. it is meeting the needs of our hire business and RMS have a dedication to the product development and interested in how it works for us. If you believe in your product and your customers and actively support both you cant lose. your response to our needs is personal and quick .. you rock

we need changes to how the software works and changes only occur if you think thats what everyone wants and will only develop on that basis. we know what we need and our ideas are intellectual property development from us for free. we need recognition of our contribution where functionality will increase the value of your product. we are effectively your partners in business adding value to your delivered product. we need change and growth in functionality our ideas will benefit everybody, make change happen quicker.

A Modern, Delightful Rental Management System

製品を使ってみた感想: After years (years!) of researching and being disappointed by many other rental management tools on the market, finding Current RMS felt like a breath of fresh air. Current RMS is a modern, beautiful system that has streamlined our business. We spend much of the year traveling, so a cloud-based system is key for us, and Current delivers on this front. Any Internet-connected device (computer, tablet, or phone) can be used to access all functionality of the system. Yes, this means that the speed of the software is subject to the speed of your Internet connection, but I've found Current to still be snappier than other rental management systems that must be accessed via VNC connections. Plus, Current's responsive layout automatically adjusts to the size of your screen. One of the strengths of Current is the excellent customer service. The staff are friendly, personable, and eager to continually improve the software based on customer feedback. While other rental management software companies seem to penalize customers for asking for help, the team at Current RMS is always available and easy to get a hold of. Current prevents details from slipping through the cracks, and has enabled us to deliver our signature customer service and attention to detail across larger and simultaneous events. In the first year using it, Current RMS helped our rental revenue grow 60%. The software is delightful to use and the team at Current have been a joy to work with.

Best Customer Support

製品を使ってみた感想: I dry ran 2 other programs. I didn't dry run RMS for very long as it was so visual. If you don't understand something the staff at RMS will ease the pain. If you have staff who hate change then this is the one of the best solutions as it keeps them away from the accounting hassles as well. XERO plugin works well for accountancy purposes only. XERO doesn't do subtotals, and they don't care, so you won't see any of that come across or the descriptions from RMS. Just send all invoices from RMS and statements from XERO and it soon looks like one program.

You can see the week or month at a glance. Posting to XERO is painless.

I would like see the sales pipeline for each month available so you can see confirmed orders at a glance for the month

In terms of having the sales pipeline for each month readily available in order to see confirmed orders, you can do this via custom views and set it to show orders within a certain month. The best part of Current is that it is nearly a complete business solution. It integrates seamlessly with xero. The inventory tracking is great. and the portability of the software being in the cloud is just awesome.

改善してほしい点:

There is literally no deal breakers here. and there system for improvement requests is really good. Some sort of PAT testing module which tracks when things need to be retested would be very handy.

Thanks for your brilliant review Aaron and great to hear how Current is managing the growth of your business. A PAT testing module is certainly in the pipeline, as it's gaining more and more votes. We have an array of new features we're looking to implement soon, so I can't give you an exact date for when we'll start building the testing and maintenance feature, however I'll make a note to contact you as soon as we know more. In the meantime, we do have an open API, so you can look into integrating this with a PAT testing system if it's something you need sooner rather than later. Thanks again

Great software to keep your business going and going and going!

良いポイント:

We really like the online access and the ability to keep all information relating to jobs with the job for all staff to access. It's great for information access for meetings or the jobs themselves. It's great fro scheduling our team and also keeping track of equipment in multiple locations. All in all it's been a good asset since we moved from our previous software.

改善してほしい点:

There are some limitations with formatting of the emails and also some limitations with reporting. This doesn't outweigh the benefits by any stretch though.

Not sure how we coped with our old software!

製品を使ってみた感想: We moved to Current RMS after being on Rentaldesk Nx for several years. Migration of the data was easy (even allowing for rental desks limitations) The team at current helped me every step of the way.
Tech support is almost instant via a chat icon that's on your dashboard, they have a wishlist so new features are discussed and voted on by the users, allowing for the developers to keep their fingers on the pulse.
In short, I love it....

Tech support is top notch. With my old software, even with a service contract they made me think I was wasting their time. Also the iCal feeds are amazing

Can't think of anything. In all honesty.

Excellent software for small and big companies

製品を使ってみた感想: We have been using Current-RMS for over a year now and it has really improved our speed, organization and peace of mind. We are a small production company that owns our own equipment so we live in a little bit different realm than most but it has helped us tremendously nonetheless. After entering everything into the system, Current-RMS has greatly sped up our check-in and check-out process and has made managing multiple shoots very easy.

The value is incredible. You get a lot of flexibility and they are constantly updating and listening to feedback from their customers.

改善してほしい点:

Like any new software it takes a little getting use to. It's kind of like learning a new language and you just have to figure out the right way to set something up or do something, but they offer great support articles and have a good community forum, plus their customer service is very speedy with any questions.

製品を使ってみた感想: We have been using current for two season now on a daily basis and we have been incredibly impressed with the simplicity, but at the same time usability. We also really appreciate that they are always keen to do bespoke forms, answer any questions and help us out where needed, usually very quickly.

We have been using Current for the last 12 months now and it has revolutionised the way that we work

製品を使ってみた感想: Current has transformed nearly all areas of our business for the better. From the initial quote all the way through the process including the confirmations, invoices, prep, dispatch and return of equipment. Being cloud based allows us to access the system wherever we are in the country including on events which is very useful. We now scan in and out of our warehouse each item ensuring that our stock control is much better. The integration with Xero saves our accountant many hours also! Overall - we LOVE it and can't recommend it highly enough.
