Lack of documentation is my main concern about the product. Support from LS Retail can be quit difficult.
Ls NAV is very good application for retail mgt. Most of the features & functions are out of the box

Many of the functionalities are driven by setup. Its just plug and play. LS DD Powerful tool for the data replication. It is a complete package for retail. Customizations to suit desired needs are 1% maximum since all functionalites are out of the box
There are no much concerns about this software. The one and only difficulty is training. It is hard to find the Training and the Trainer.

製品を使ってみた感想： Retail Business in Sri Lanka is not well-managed when it comes to Resource Planning and Finance Management. Sri Lankan IT Industry is highly competitive in introducing a modernly made Retail Management Software Solution to make things go ahead in Retail sales industry with efficiency and good standard, and herewith LS Retail and its business logic designs as an Implementation person I did see bigger advantages to follow a well-developed framework. LS Retail was a Thumbs up from both the Implementer and the End-Customer.
Wide-spread Configuration capability is a huge plus point selecting this as the main Retail Solution for a Retail operations-driven Business or an Enterprise. LS Retail has the capability to deploy as a vertical software solution for Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central which makes the solution proposals more competent and viable. In terms of UI/UX, the user-friendliness is an achieved goal metrics here at LS Retail.
Although the capacity to configure the system is given at a performable level as a Deployer I am keen for good development capabilities to be carried out, overlayed or extended. At the moment the pricing structure is not that viable for South Asian Market from implementation and proposal development experience.
We had the chance to implement LS. NAV Version 800.03 and version 900.05 at different client site.
The screen is intuitive and easy to use. The functionality does not seem overwhelming or hard to understand. It pack with features and also works with different variation type of retailers- a pure retail store and or hospitality type. It can all be taken care by one system. You can also customize the application to fit your needs such as hide features for some users or also integrate new functionality such as payment integration. I like that it is web enabled which means that a retailer that want to have an Omni channel system can integrate their econmerce to this back office
Support or response are very slow from LS. Also for any fixes and hot fixes they provide is one the latest version of Dynamics NAV. This means that it is very hard to retrofit hotfixes from one version to the other. A good example are from version 900.03 to the newer 10.00.05. The fixes were not evident or detailed as it should have been. Also the software seems to be over promised. There are features listed that although present - does not fully cover the necessity of the client. A good example is again on version9.00.05 which although advertised as have a good coverage for hospitality- restaurant/bar, there were lots of issues or limitation of the software. The software may allow you to do some configurations and suggest some functionality but it does not work in the context of North America or lead to hard errors with system crash. Such errors were found and are still present in their split bill function for example. The cost is high as well since it is built on top of the dynamics nav stack.

製品を使ってみた感想： The solution was implemented in a multidimensional organisation with POS's, backend and frontend users. The ability to have everything (>90%) of your needs fulfilled is a fantastic feat.
The ability for the software solution to work for you straight out of the box and then provide the adaptability and also extensive modularity is amazing.
The lack of a Human Resources aspect. Well there is HR involved but its very limited.

Working with LS retail since last 17 years long journey with summary below.
Amazing product with both pros and cons. Product carries history with great experience from implementers. As a core product there are lots of features missing for mid-size retailers. Other competitive products in the market supply lot of these features and we haven’t seen in LS yet.
LS central become lot more difficult to Quicker deployments with customisations and lot of dependencies and also un availability of LS Retail support
I know LS is investing lot of inputs but it is not catching up with market speed.
1. Built on Business Central 2. Compatible with SQL 3. Uses Microsoft AZURE & Cloud 4. Rich features with integrated ERP 5. Best fit for mid and small retailers and quick setups to go live 6. Good replication tool 7. etc. etc. i have a massive list to go
1. NOT User friendly on POS configurations, too many complicated setups involved behind scenes 2. NOT easy to install and deploy 3. Hard for low end retailers to maintain and manage 4. Lack of training materials in latest versions. 5. Lack of integration to other channel platforms. 6. Lack of localisations in some countries and partners are not up to date.

製品を使ってみた感想： I used LS NAV in the Retail and was part of the implementation process. It is easy to lean and has a very intuitive user interface that most people get familiar with very quickly. It is customizable and in the lower end of the price range for the features you get. However customization can get expensive if you need features that are not out of the box.
Seamless integration with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, highly configurable point of sale user interface, the promotions (discount offers, mix/match, happy hour, buy x get y free, etc.) works very well and is very intuitive once you have used it for a little bit, LS Retail is constantly investing in their solution
No Security related to tables, Transaction margin, If you customize too much Microsoft Dynamics NAV you can have problems down the line. The inbuilt reports feature is not fantastic.

製品を使ってみた感想： LS Retail is company that provide a solutions focusing in retail and hospitality. I am using one of their product, LS NAV. The product was very rich features and functionality, its suite to any business process that i am facing for all client. Whenever, the client has a specific requirement, the system can be customized with some effort. Rich features always means high complexity. And, the product is quite expensive for small retail business. But, overall the system is fine.
Rich features and functionality, stable because it's an add-on on top of Dynamics NAV/365 BC that strong in the accounting. Configurable with needed of good knowledge of the system.
The support team is not really helpful. Quite expensive product.
As a project consultant of LS NAV for 4 years, this is the software that is easy to manage.
製品を使ってみた感想： An active enhancement plan is a vital part of making the most of LS Retail solution, whether it's LS Nav, LS One, or LS First. There are many benefits of being on active enhancement plan that many retailers do not realize, and re-enrolling as a lapsed customer can be costly and time-consuming. With an active enhancement plan, you can provide an excellent customer experience that doesn't end after the license has been purchased.
The most I like with LS NAV software is the compatibility with other modules. End-to-End business process.
The least that I like with LS NAV is the monthly update of fix objects, which I don't find it easy for me to catch up regularly since I'm on a project phase.
Implementing LS-NAV always went smooth. The latest developments are a real addition to LS-NAV.

It has a lot to offer out-of-the box and on top of that it is really easy to customize for that demanding customer. The help that is available from LS (academy, consultancy, help-desk) was a bit unknown to me, but since we got in contact it is that "+1" for me.
It can be a bit overwhelming for first-time users, but also for junior consultants. But at the same time it is easy to learn.

One of the best things about LS Retail is that it has been built on the most efficient SMB ERP Software(Navision). Its Data model is the best in the industry. LS Retail brings out the best features to enrich your Retail Business. You Can Customize the Product as per your Business needs and it helps to see the growth of the firm transparently.
We experienced some latency in data replication and that was not been resolved for quite some time. we spent a couple of days to figure what was the issue. still, that can be easily overseen.
This is one of the best retail solution I have ever seen.Its ideal ERP solution for mid size firms.

Best features abt LS Nav is Loyalty management.its is helpful to attract more customers to shop by developing your own loyalty data on each shopping. The feature which I like most about LS Nav is its Offer management.its provides organization to run different types of items on same product to increase sales.its provide different offers options like mix n match, multibuy, promotion, slab etc.
There is hardly any issue which I have seen with this product.Other than per year licensing part, this product is very reasonable and cost-effective for the organization

the stability and the functionality. I tried another software, I think the Ls retail is one of the best for retail industry. easy to use, learn, troubleshooting, implement. Really you will have all the features you want it on the retail field.
the performance issue and the upgrade. it will be a huge difference if you find an easy way to make the upgrade and to find some way to enhance the improvement as well. also I think you must find an easy way to shrink the database, because as you know the retail business have a huge transaction and information.
The most powerful software
No matter what activities are to be performed, all types of tasks are done with ease, transactions are intuitively completed by the cashiers, whilest customers can still be advised, or if administrators are setting up complex benefits for the the sales process.
It is sometimes a challenge to find the right way to fulfil a specific task, because there are always many and different ways to achieve the needed functionality.

製品を使ってみた感想： Full visibility and access to all aspects of business in one product without integration points or best-of-breed software issues. LS Retail is a flexible, comprehensive, all-in-one software.
LS is 100% fully integrated into NAV functionality with direct and full connections with sales, purchases, inventory, and financials. All POS and Stores are directly connected to headquarters and everything in between for full visibility into all areas of business.
Two things - one is setup, because it is so flexible, setup is extremely complex. Once it is setup, little needs to happen and it is very flexible so changes can be made quickly. Second is VAT vs Sales Tax calculations - especially with prepayments. Software is based on VAT, but has Sales Tax (North America) built on top of / besides which can have rounding issues.
I am using from LS 4.0 to LS2017 overall is very good but installation need to be easy.
I am loving this LS Retail from beginning, my big journey with LS Retail and I am certified in LS2013. my most like part is DD, TS, POS setup related all activity. Hardware setup and testing with LS.
POS, DD, TS, Distribution, Distribution Location and Hospitality, menu Profile setup and Design. also end of the day process, item setup and user and roles and permission.

Complex to implement. even though we have 10+ years of experience on each project we face issues that are hard to solve and are in line with changes that LS Retail company implemented for new versions.

It has all the functionalities that makes it easy to use in variety of retail and hospitality industries. Easy to implement, flexible enough to make any change easily, real time data replication from store to HO is a plus.

製品を使ってみた感想： I have faced implementation in many stores and once you create one, the rest is easy to replicate and the way you can handle data trough Reporting services lets you see facts in real time.
The software is very intuitive and solves most of the problems you can find in the retail industry from gas stations to brick & morter retail. Be able to fuse all of this with an ERP as Dynamics makes possible to face critical solutions in real time. In my opinion the most comprehensive solution for retail at this time.
As any other software with big security features, can be overwhelming to face certain problems in this regard.

hospitality need a bit more work the report in hospitality is weak and you need to work on more functions in hospitality like i need to be able to delete after send and after print with different permission
