やや高価だが生産性ツールとしては優秀

製品を使ってみた感想： 独自のファイル形式を利用しているが、office製品は世界中に広く使用されているため、ファイルのシェアなどに関しては特に不便がない。word以外、pdfへ変換するという共有手段を備えている。ライセンスの維持費はかかるが、それ以上のリターンが見込める。

良いポイント:

複雑な機能を覚えなくても、誰でも書類を作成できる。またoffice 365になってから、office製品同士の連携が以前より良くなっている。例えば、onedriveにwordファイルを保管すると、wordをPCにインストールしなくても、ブラウザ経由で必要最低限の編集が可能になる。

改善してほしい点:

高度な編集を行いたい場合、多少の知識がないと、うまく書類を仕上げ出来ない。経験がないと、初心者だと多分索引の挿入するだけで苦労する。誰でも簡単に活用できるようにウィザード、ガイドラインなどを充実して欲しい。また一部の機能は以前からほとんど改善されていない様子。例えば、索引の登録に関しては、登録したい単語を一個一個自分で選択するか、文書にある同じ単語を全部一気に登録するかという2つの選択肢しかない。指定した章を登録範囲から除外するとか、自分で登録範囲を細かく指定できない。

説明する必要のない文章作成ツール

良いポイント:

社内資料や提案書の作成の日常使いから、契約書の作成、管理、コメント機能を用いてのレビューなどの社外資料や情報共有にまで使える文章作成・管理ツール。共同編集や外部アプリとの互換性も高く使いやすい。

改善してほしい点:

画像や動画を挿入して保存すると形式が崩れる、箇条書き(段落番号)が、文章の構成によっては思ったものが出てこない、などちょっとしたエラーがある。

全ての機能を使いこなせるようになるには時間が必要

良いポイント:

多種多様な機能を有しているため、完成度の高い文章ファイルを作成できる。また最新版はオンライン編集にも対応しているため、編集したファイルはoffice 365を利用すれば、どこでもファイルを編集できる。さらに、オンライン編集を利用すれば、同時編集も実現可能となる。

改善してほしい点:

多機能の故、全ての機能を使いこなせるには難しい。例えば、フィールド機能はある程度勉強しないと使えない。また、フォーマットの調整(ヘッター、フッダーのスタイルとか)は基本マニュアルでやらないといけない。自動編集機能を強化してほしい。そうすると編集者が文章の内容編集のみに集中できる。

製品を使ってみた感想： Overall, Microsoft Word is easy-to-use. My experience was with the cloud version of Microsoft Word. I have gotten used to Google Docs, making Microsoft Word seem a little "behind." I would rather convert a .Dox to a Google Doc and edit than to edit in Microsoft Word!

Microsoft Word via cloud makes it create and share important documents. As a Google Docs user (and fan), Microsoft Word has comparable capabilities. Easy to integrate with other software!

改善してほしい点:

I found that it Microsoft Word has a slower syncing time than Google Docs. It feels like there is a slight lag and that it is harder to collaborate in real time on a shared document. I also fine One Drive had the same issue. I would have a hard time finding the most recently saved Microsoft Word Documents.

A necessary evil

The features it offers are fairly expensive especially when you can use google docs which has almost the same capabilities.

Excellent Software Option for Writers

製品を使ってみた感想： Microsoft Word is one of the gold standard software options for writers and is pretty easy to use but can be costly as it is subscription based through Microsoft 365 so if you're looking for something cheaper another software may be more in your ballpark.

I love having options when I'm writing and Microsoft Word has so many different formatting options to choose from along with tons of different document templates for different projects.

A couple of things that I don't like are that it is part of a subscription program which can get pricey and it depends heavily on a stable internet connection which can be inconvenient for users in rural areas like myself as our Internet connection is anything but stable at times.

It keeps getting better each year!

Power packed document editor - supported universally on all platforms Windows, Mac, iOS, Android etc. Easy to save as other formats like PDF. Easy to collaborate with team right through Office 365 tools and easy to secure the document with password and other restrictions as needed.

When saving a document, it pushes the user to save to OneDrive instead of giving unbiased opinion to save to OneDrive or local computer folder.

製品を使ってみた感想： Writing on your device still needs a good software and this is the needed standard as word processor. But not always the easiest, fastest or simpliest.

The standard in word processor, you are sure you'll open the document as it was designed. You have what you need, also for professionals need.

改善してほしい点:

UI is generally over-complex and suffers from a historical approach. Also considering ther competitors (Apple Pages overall). Reviewing rocks, but when you work a lot in teams at a certain point you lose yourself in indiscernible lists. Working with many columns, layout interruptions and paragraph can bring you to a situation like "document has its own independent life that rejects any new formatting".

良いポイント:

Microsoft Word exceeds all other platforms combined. The flow, overall look and spelling and grammar check make it an A+ product. You have the ability to see your documents in different ways and choose the best fit for you. It also offers templates, and that guides you in the correct direction for any document you want to create. Plus you are offered free classes that keep you updated on anything new.

I sometimes have trouble affording it. I love that a free trial is available, but after that trial it falls outside of my budget.

MS Word is the leading Word Processing app and familiar to most users.

製品を使ってみた感想： As the company admin, MS Word is often the most familiar application for users. It's been around forever and most users have some familiarity from previous employment or school. Getting users to work with it in cloud form is not a difficult transition.

Whether or not you are a Microsoft user, Word is a necessity for word processing. It is universally recognized as the industry standard. I have used MS Word for over 30 years and it continues to improve.

A solid word processor that goes beyond drafting

製品を使ってみた感想： For years I have trusted Microsoft Word over other word processors. It is the gold standard for a reason. You are able to draft, edit, share and convert your documents easily and effectively, which saves time and energy.

Its interface is so user friendly. It also has all the features I need to draft documents and share proposed edits with others.

改善してほしい点:

I wish that formatting was a little easier as sometimes numbering, spacing or margins can be hard to alter when copying and pasting from one word document to another.

Can never go wrong with word

製品を使ってみた感想： You can easily update your work. It can be used for a variety of things. It is easy to use and have a bunch of features. Co-workers can also edit and share via the cloud. We use it for so many different things: Agendas, notes, letters, notice responses, door signs, list, etc.

Word can get slow and laggy with big documents, and the price can be a turn-off if you don’t already have Microsoft 365. There are free alternatives like Google Docs, but Word definitely has more features if you need them.

Microsoft Word is seriously one of the best tools for writing out there. It’s super easy to use. The layout is clean, and everything you need is right in front of you. If there's something you can't find, there is bound to be a tutorial online about it. You can customize everything—fonts, styles, colors, whatever you need. Templates are a lifesaver when you don’t feel like starting from scratch, especially for resumes or reports. You can share docs with others and work on them at the same time, perfect for group projects. You can also add comments and track changes easily, so everyone stays on the same page. Linked to OneDrive, it backs up your work automatically, so you don’t have to worry about losing anything. Word is solid, whether you’re writing an essay, working on a group project, or putting together something professional.

It's not perfect. It can be kinda slow, especially if you’re working with a big document. Sometimes it lags or freezes, which is super annoying when you're trying to get stuff done quickly.

Sometimes it isn't easy to achieve the desired results, especially with formatting. In my opinion, Word has a very steep learning curve.

Microsoft Word forever

製品を使ってみた感想： I started using Word in 90s when letters were printed and sent with envelopes; it was already a great product. Never a disappointment, the program runs well and it's easy to use and you will learn quickly. In case of need there is a lot of tutorial and documentation on internet.

良いポイント:

Microsoft Word is easy to use, in the home section you will find the most use functions, every button has a popup help that describes what the button will do. The other sections allows you for example to insert tables, images and change the layout of your document. The print preview is under the File Tab, I usually use CTRL P to recall it. Documents can also be password protected for more security, just keep in mind that if you forget the password you will not able to open your word file at all. I mainly use Word to create short manuals, but sometimes i write commercial letters and also funny greeting card. A great program, worth the price. I tried other similar programs, but Word is much better.

Word is not free; in case of troubles you have to reinstall the office suite, not the single program
