Sendgrid is a great tool for program driven emails.

I admire SendGrid for its seamless setup process, allowing even novices to integrate sophisticated emailing capabilities into their applications swiftly. The clear and comprehensive documentation walks you through every step, and the intuitive API makes crafting and sending emails a breeze. Not to mention the extensive libraries in various languages, reducing development time and effort. Truly, its convenience and efficiency make it a preferred choice for developers looking to implement email services.

改善してほしい点:

The support seems to be slow to respond at times and/or not very effective. Also delivery is not the best in the industry. but still very good.

SendGrid is our #1 email sender for newsletters and outbound

製品を使ってみた感想： We use SendGrid for newsletter and outbound sequences and our overall experience is positive. It serves its purpose, while some of the functionalities could be improved.

良いポイント:

I like the ability to send single newsletters, or automations. I like the segmentation of the contact lists. I like the interface and user friendliness. I like the foreign IP address for risk free outbound initiatives.

改善してほしい点:

I would invite the possibility to merge contact lists. I would also invite more intuitive set up of the automations. I would love better analytics with the automations.

Customer Service Is Terrible

製品を使ってみた感想： As long as you don't have an issue and need CS their tech works great and have a good value proposition. When I can find another company with a similar value proposition and even decent customer service I will switch.

Customer service is terrible. It used to be pretty good. They have made getting service more difficult, and when you use the chat they try to redirect you away. So when you chat you get in a queue and they text you when you are next. I get a text go to the chat and it says >1 Minute. I stay on for 3-5 minutes no one is there, I go back to what I am doing and when I go back the chat closed. Do it all over again, and this time within a minute someone gets on. I message 7 times my question and issue, 10 minutes go by before I get an answer. The whole process is terrible and purposefully by design treats their paying customer like trash. You don't matter, your time doesn't matter, and in fact you are an idiot for not figuring out the issue on your own. Even when my question/issue was something ONLY they can do. I do not have the ability to increase subusers, only they do. I wish I could say that this is a SendGrid issue, almost every business has rearranged their CS to serve employees, which usually is at the expense of those who pay to make the whole operation work.

SendGrid is one of my favorite email platforms.

製品を使ってみた感想： Sendgrid lives up to its reputation as a market leader for email. Be it marketing, authentication and transactional emails. It provides a plethora of options and functionality that meet most business needs.

The fact I use sendgrid for transactional emails says a lot. The api intergration is a breeze, as are all of its parameters available. The email monitor tools as well as the disposable email detection have proven particularly useful. Third party intergration is easy with the likes of Firebase, FaunaDB and node cloud functions.

改善してほしい点:

There isn't any particular thing I have a disliking for in all honesty.

Great transactional email platform, very decent for email marketing

製品を使ってみた感想： By far is the best tool we've used for transactional emails, and the last couple years it has done a good job for email marketing. They have very strict policies against cold email, which keeps deliverability high.

It is very easy to use and deploy. The API is very well documented and the email marketing features can easily be used by non-developers without writing a single line of code. They have a very nice no-code email builder, but it also allows to do it in HTML for more technically inclined users.

改善してほしい点:

Though it is a great platform for transactional email, the Email Marketing tools are charged extra. SendGrid is only really good if you get a dedicated IP, which is absent for the cheaper tiers.

Effective and affordable

SendGrid is not complex enough for out marketing email needs.

Fantastic solution for transactional emails

SendGrid is one of the best solutions for me in the transactional email service because it's easy to start using, the free version is generous and the more affordable paid version isn't bad.

改善してほしい点:

I stopped using it simply because I found another even simpler solution, with lower prices and excellent support. Other than that I would continue to use it.

Sendgrid'e Email API has solved our problems in email campaigns

製品を使ってみた感想： In addition to having their emails filtered as spam, sales representatives were unable to monitor their recipients' actions when sending them via their email client. Our problem was fixed via Sendgrid's email API.

Integrating with the email API is a breeze. When compared to other mass email service providers, we have seen that SendGrid consistently produces the highest interaction rates. The ability to automatically retry sent emails is a good bonus.

There is no consistency in the percentages of emails opened or clicked. There is currently no mechanism to block measurements that originate from email service provider bots.

Excellent, reliable - I recommend; using for years pre-Twilio

Using SendGrid As An SMTP Service (Integrating With Other Software)

製品を使ってみた感想： Overall we're really happy with SendGrid and have been using them for years now with no thought of moving or going back to our old method (which was just sending all of our emails over our regular SMTP details, which came with lots of drawbacks and undelivered emails).

We like how SendGrid provides us with a central platform which we can send emails to from our multiple other Platforms and have them all sent together from one Platform. It was also really useful for us to be able to purchase a Static IP Address just for ourselves, as this has increased both our reputation and the amount of our emails which are delivered now vs before we moved to SendGrid.

改善してほしい点:

The initial setup, getting a Static IP Address and learning about the reporting features took a little bit of time to get used to, however this is probably to be expected with this type of product and it did not take us too long. We also had to "warm up" the new Static IP Address which we purchased, which meant sending some emails over a Shared Pool IP Address for so many days but, again, this is probably to be expected to help with reputation etc.

Sending tons of great emails - perfect match for MS Azure

製品を使ってみた感想： We use it for our transactional emails mostly. It was an easy set up. Creating emails was also an easy process, we started with their design interface and then moved to coded emails.

Very easy to create email templates, and integrate with your website. The tool handles really well bounces & spams. We've never had problems with it.

In the reporting, the unique open email seems to be based on events happening from devices. So if I open the same email from desktop and then from mobile, it will be 2 unique opens. I think this should be based on the actual email.

Decent software for emailing

We are using Sendgrid as an SMTP provider. It was easy to configure and it is working without any bugs - seriously not even one.

Weird password policy. They demand from you a minimum 16 characters - even if you are using 2fa. It is not convenient at all.

Good solution for WordPress SMTP

製品を使ってみた感想： We needed a way to improve on the fairly dismal email deliverability in client WordPress sites, and our primary web host had an integration with SendGrid. After seeing great improvement in deliverability with SendGrid, we have started using it on many sites hosted elsewhere.

The biggest pro is that SendGrid has a free tier -- increasingly their competitors are moving away from having one. As a result, we can use SendGrid with many sites to improve email deliverability within Wordpress for free, and it's still affordable if it's needed more.

Email validation is not available until you reach the Pro level, which can be a bit pricier for smaller sites.

Waste of time....

After signing up as a new business customer as part of a new marketing strategy my business implemented, SendGrid immediately suspended my account for no reason (after taking my personal information), and an agent then proceeded to tell me some magical 'vetting' system determined I wasn't eligible to use their service.After asking how an earth they could 'vet' me considering they haven't even obtained anything about my business they proceeded to tell me they can't tell me why and that their decision was final.Appalling service, I genuinely have no idea how these people even have customers to begin with if one can't even sign up....

Everything, because they discriminate on who signs up to them, and give no explanation for suspending your account after taking your personal information.

HORRIBLE service

There is no customer support, they ban your account even after you have paid for no reason due to suspicious activity, which is sending emails. The service for sending emails bans their users for sending emails, and then you have to open a support ticket to reactivate your account which takes almost 2 weeks to get an initial response.

Good SMTP Features

After connecting SendGrid to my WordPress installation the notification emails for my web forms send without any issue.

Getting the "From" domain verified can be challenging sometimes. The process isn't as simple as it could be.

Full feature set even in free accounts. Intuitive and easy to use. I haven’t found an email related task it couldn’t handle.
